1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: new floral neckwarmers :D on: December 02, 2007 05:22:46 AM
Very pretty! I love that it's coordinated with your profile pic, too!
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Bibs for elderly? on: May 31, 2007 04:35:52 PM
This reminds me of a story I read once... I don't know the details here, but it seems kind of degrading to make the elderly wear bibs. Can't you wash a t-shirt just as easily? I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but if it were me I'd be hurt and embarassed.
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Pop/Soda Can 'Insulator' on: May 31, 2007 04:33:35 PM
Tres cool! I'm sure keeping one's hot ol' hands from touching the can directly slows the warming process even if it doesn't insulate.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Outrageously obnoxious newly upholstered couch on: January 16, 2007 10:42:21 AM
Mind-blowingly cool!
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Oil bottles, so simple on: January 16, 2007 10:39:15 AM
OMG! I have one of those cats on my stove, with a spout, with olive oil in it! We're kindred spirits! My hubby bought it as a surprise for me years ago, and the wine was way nassssty, but I adore the bottle. he and I are good consumers, we can be sold on packaging alone. XD
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Sunbeam Cooker Lamp on: January 16, 2007 10:35:22 AM
something tells me my country-ducks crock pot would never look that cool no matter how hard I modded it! ^_^ wtg!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: grey dress for daytime or evening on: January 12, 2007 12:05:39 PM
*dawn breaks in head* Wow, I never thought about it, but unless you're a redneck or a surfer, men ARE severely limited as far as sleeveless fashion goes. But then, you don't generally feel you're expected to shave your pits, either. I guess it evens out. Take heart, though - sleeves aren't too bad, if you can handle a bustline you can handle a shoulder! ^_^
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dress from 1970's green floral sheet UPDATED on: January 12, 2007 11:52:24 AM
I'm scared if I make this dress it'll give me the Dreaded Pancake Boob. Halter tops tend to flatten me in all the wrong places. I've seen several dresses from this pattern that look FANTASTIC, though, this one included. To buy or not to buy?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Today I am Capt. Jack Sparrow AND I made a mini dress! (Many Pics and Tutori on: January 12, 2007 11:45:31 AM
I love how Morty jumps in and gets hair all over JUST as you're getting off the ground! So much like my kitty... Thanks very much for the tutorial!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Super Spaceship Dress with Tute on: January 12, 2007 11:41:24 AM
*beats chest violently* Why did you thingies have to grow there! 24 years, nothing, and now I'm always having to wear supportive underwear. Talk about your late bloomers. Well, I can't run up and down the stairs anymore, but I can still adore your dress. And I do! Way to go, you're really awesome, especially for a new sewer! ^_^
