I received my first ornament from gigglygirl.  This bear is great with his sleepy eyes, bow and button heart.  I love the fact that his appedages are movable, he can 'stand' or sit on a branch in the tree.  Can't wait to see it there!  Thanks so much gigglygirl.

Yay, Im done!  I now have clear coat drying.  It just got cold here this weekend.  So far they seem to be drying okay.  Thinking a 2nd coat this afternoon.  Then I will be able to send in a few days.
Quaggy, I have a friend who has a small cutting mill of sorts here.  We always get free firewood from his scraps.  I wanted originally to have him cut the slices, but I bought them because the wood from a craft store is heat and chemically treated.  Soon though, Id like to slice some myself.  I have a wood burning tool, too, so it would be sweet to try some of the burned ornaments I have seen.  Though I have much more faith in my painting abilities than wood burning!
So happy to be a part of this swap...  Thank you for organizing, GatorWrangler.  I make it my goal to remember to be here around October yearly to join this.  I dont generally LOVE Christmas,... but nothing gets me in the spirit like crafting for it...

Just wanted to stop in and show my. 2 different designs.  I'll be asking people who are recieving from me for their addresses and i can possibly accommodate your choice of ornament.  I blinged them up a bit, so they aren't the typical rustic type of ornament you usually see with these.  But I hope my partners like them!  I can probably go green early next week.  Oh!  And at the time the oics were taken I didnt have them drilled or strung, but of course there will be a way to hang them when they arrive.

Sorry bout the huge screenshots.  I'm STILL not used to craftster photo hosting and how to get my photos to upload.

kimchery, it is so wonderful to see you back and swapping! You were the host of one of my first swaps ever (the beginner's inchies, I believe, when I was johnson.mom2two on here.) I love your offerings!
I do remember you as johnson.mom2two!  I do recall a lot of these names, but I am about bouncing that someone remembers me!😆

Yes, about the wood.  I did plan on using wood slices, sliced here locally...  but after looking up the international rules, I am using bought ones.  Which would be easier anyway, as I can get right to work painting.  And I plan on stopping at the post office hopefully today to ask what kind of proof I may need to show to be able to send internationally.  And still, I can make some other ornament if needed.  (probably some felt Christmas creature, as I can get to those supplies easily, and they wont require any additional cure time.). Whatever it is, it will be nice if I have to go that route.

Hi all!  The last swap I participated in was 5 years ago, and it was this one.  I can't remember how many rounds, but I know every year we decorate the tree I remember each ornament fondly as made by one of you.  (And I do see some familiar names!) Shortly thereafter I had lots of problems with my eyesight, multiple eye surgeries, and lots of adapting.  I know for thr past few years I've wanted to join this swap, but I don't think of it til I'm too late.  This year I guess I'm just in time....
I would like to offer some handpainted wood slice ornamemts similar to these...  (From Pinterest)

More likely I will be doing scenes similar to the second picture.  The woodburned ones are nice, but I really want color.

Continued.... Here's the last 4 ornaments I received.  I was concerned the message would never upload unless I cut my pictures in half...

Here's the darling little knitted bird from hazelly.  I love the bright color.  It is too cute, knitted ornaments have a special place in my heart.

From cinnamon teal, a ceramic snowflake ornament.  Another that the picture can't possibly do justice.  It's beautifully shiny-glazed, and I love the color.

I love this star from Ninaprettyballerina.  If I knew how to make these, I would probably spend the rest of my craft time til Christmas making them in every color.  But since I can't do that, and I don't have nearly the time, these fabrics are perfectly festive.

And here's my little felt gingerbread man from bec99.  Adorable!  The pink cheeks, the bow, the seed bead trim,... All those little details are awesome.
This was, as usual, a totally cheerful and entertaining swap for me.  I probably won't even be back around to swap til next year just for this again.  Thank you everyone for the ornaments, they were perfect.  And thank you GatorWrangler for hosting this.  I'm so glad I decided to check into craftster on the last day of signups.  This really helped me get pumped for the holidays.  :0)  I can't wait for the rest of my ornaments to arrive to their destinations...

I'm so excited, I got my last 2 ornaments today!  I LOVE them all.  Most of our family has birthdays the beginning of December, so we usually don't put up a tree and lights until after the 13th.  So I'm showing my ornaments off now, and they'll remain in a small box on top of my entertainment center for a couple more weeks.  Without further ado...

Here's a beaded wonderment bell from iSewCute.  There was one of these on my tree growing up, but it got lost somewhere along the way, and I'm so happy to have another.  It's more sparkly and prettier than I even remember.

Here's the snowman Snowglobe from GatorWrangler.  It's so unique, and the iridescent glitter really makes it.  I love the way it looks along with Christmas lights. :0)

A starfall ornament from goldfishpollywog.  I was so excited to be able to have a rainbow ornament.  It is lovely.

Here's the melted snowman ornament from JillHogan.  Not that any of these pictures are perfect, but this is so much neater in person.  And so much fun to play with! After getting everything inside, everyone had to have a turn.
