this skirt isn't from the same pattern - but it is very similar. it has an elastic waistband and a big ol' slit on the side. i used spiderweb fabric for the top, then a strip of one inch wide sturdy ribbon, and then some vertical pinstripe. the combination of the patterns and textures worked out really well. bought the fabric from a fabric store in my town for about 7$ a yard. it's a fun skirt to wear!

this is the bag that i did for my first project! it was really fun. She's not perfect (blue eyebrows?) but the project was so gratafying that i don't care!

i also did a chinese take-out box on a teeshirt:

sorry about the bad pics - my camera is a handmedown (is that a word?) from my grandma.

ok - i have the worst digital camera ever made, but here are the cute buttons that won't fit on my fat elastics:

I bought them for 1.75 at joannes fabrics. they're so darned cute - i wish they would have worked! oh well, i'll find another project for them!
