Nessie helped us make gingerbread cookies, make hot cocoa , combat sickness with some essential oils and also helped me wrap about a million presents before Christmas.

We have done loads more over the last two weeks but I will have to post them over the next week or so when I have more time.

Class: Iron Chef Bourbon
House: Ravenclaw
Project name: Hot mulled wine
Description: I make this drink several times over the Fall and Winter Holidays and it is always gobbled up. Ive made it so many times I dont even follow a recipe anymore and just eyeball it.
This particular batch is made with about 2 bottles of red wine (usually a cabernet is what we use or a red blend) one orange sliced, one lemon sliced, a cinnamon stick, about 10 cloves, and 5 to 10 allspice berries. Usually I add a star of anise but I ran out. Put it all in the crockpot on very low for about 4 hours. To each glass, add a tablespoon or so of honey and a shot of bourbon. Pour your mulled wine in and enjoy!! Usually, I use Brandy but I wanted to try bourbon to fit this prompt and it was amazing. Bourbon from now on!

My swap partner and I are both lovers of sewing and I knew right from the beginning that I had to make these for her. I used vintage sewing bobbins that are silver along with the colors green and red for Christmas.

However, with a little fudging I managed to make it look decent and I dont think its too noticeable.

I received from my partner PhoenixWolf the day before yesterday! First, they sent some sweet extras: a Ravenclaw bookmark, cute Christmas animal posters, some extra owl stickers, and tons of Girl scout stickers! Those will be a hit at our next meeting. Smiley
Then the main deal! I've wanted a wand a wand for ages and Phoenix did not disappoint! This was huge at my work the other day - the kids loved it!

I'm sorry for the delay! Here are the lovely things Kansas96 sent me!

The stocking and tumblers were stuffed with chocolate also! I love the Pioneer Woman and those tumblers will get good use for sure. The nativity snow globe is simply sweet. My absolute favorite thing is the shadow box for the bell of the Polar Express! And the hot chocolate is absolutely delicious. You can't tell but it has crunched up candy canes in it that give it that extra tasty holiday flavor.
Thank you so much Kansas96! You really hit the nail on the head with this delightful package. I truly hope you enjoy everything I sent just as much!

The day after Thanksgiving we took Nessie to see Lindsay Sterling! She was amazing!

Then Nessie helped us decorate for Christmas:

She went with us to get our Christmas tree! She and M'aire liked finding the little ones to play with

Nessie had fun crafting with me before hanging out with the slightly bigger bearded dragons

Then we got to see Christmas lights in our favorite neighborhood!
