1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / "Jerseys" for Backyard Football Game (Fixed Pics) on: July 09, 2007 09:04:34 AM
This is my first time posting. I always mean to post some things but never get around to it, I'm breaking that habit right now.  Wink

This was just kinda of a fun craft but I thought everything came out really cute and it was definetely worth it. My friends about 11 girls challenged our guy friends to a football game this summer Smiley Just a crazy idea that came up in January but we actually did it and it was a blast. Obviously we were gonna lose so I made sure we'd go down in style. I made us all "jerseys" with black skulls on the front our last name and our number in sparkly pink on the back.  Tongue The guys told us we didn't look intimidating but cutee. For them to even admit something was cute was good enough.

Thats me dead centerr.. being a freak. I did my shirt last and I had run out of black paint so I got a pink skull.  Smiley

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Quick Question on: February 07, 2007 04:04:26 PM
I've read on here before about personalizing Hershey Kisses.. replacing the slips with your own little messages.. How would you go about doing that.. I could see myself ripping the foil just making them all messy if I tried.. anyone who has any ideas?? Thanks
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Eeek.. question. on: July 28, 2006 12:27:46 AM
Okk.. within a couple of months I'm trying to finish a blanket or pillow for my boyfriend.. My idea was with either of them to crochet into the finished project, pictures and writing.. this is for our one year anniversary and I want to crochet our names and the date we started going out && for pictures.. a dinosaur (huge jurassic park fan) a robot, his nickname and so on... i have a book of patterns and its got a blanket with some tacky retro square theme.. i would even make it if i could just figure out how to add my own wording and pictures into the pattern.. soo do any of you know websites with instructions on how to do this..or have any tips? I've found websites with tutorials on how to make 3-d animals but i want my designs flat weaved into the blanket.. I don't know how much sense I'm making so if you have any questions on my idea.. because I know I'm being ambitous with all of this but I would really love if I could figure it out. Thanks!
