Hi, I am on a roll. We had Bernard now we have Betty.

Betty is a woollen square bottomed bag, it took an age to embroider the stripes. I hope they look alright. The rings are wooden curtain rings.

Hello everyone !! here's another birthday gift this time for my sister in-law. The outer fabric is soo fab, bought from my local charity store for 2 for 4 yrds. It still has its old label on it I think it might be 50's ??. The bias binding was a bit of a mare, I had to sew it on by hand !!!! it was kind of slippery on the sewing machine, next time I might do piping instead if I can ever master that. I am please with the result just hope she likes it .....

its about 25cm x 10 cm in size, I put in some pleats to make less boring

Just finished these two ... a matching bag and knitting needle thingy. April & May are a busy
time for birthdays, these are for my friend P who is into knitting in a big way, she takes it
everywhere she goes so I thought it would be nice if she could have something to carry it all in.....

ring handled bag, first attempt at one of these. Is there a more obvious way of
putting on the handles Huh

Just finished this bag for my best friends birthday. The blossom twig was based on a picture in Japanese picture book, the fabric an old table cloth and my husband old stripy shirt and the rings etc from and old handbag. I love to recycle  Grin. The bag design is based on on Muchachak's. Just like to add my friend loved the bag Grin.

Hello everybody, I've just finsh this bag, but its the embroidery that took me sooooo long to do. It a pattern I made by playing around on photoshop, printed it off and drew over it with a transfer pencil (there must be a easier way of creating a transfer !!!!). It's of a kind of wood effect, some thing I am a bit into, let me know what you think  Grin
