I almost forgot about the button hole in mcpherson is gone, however in Hutchinson on the main business street on the corner of 4th or 2nd, it looks like the same business just smaller square footage.

Hutchinson  Kansas has a really good  knit shop on 14 e 15 right on the corner on the right side.  Yarn  I believe is what it's called.  Almost any  Etcetera (thrift) shops have interesting vintage yarns and fabrics.

Twist in wichita in the deleno district it is by Jack's Hat Shop is a really good store. Men and women love to hang out and knit and crochet there. Some people even spin. Their big days are wed thurs and saturdays.

These are two of the best yarn shops in my area. Though I do tend to visit The Beadery as well as it is walking distance and they have beautiful beads as well as beautiful yarn.

We have the Beadery on main street.  There are various beads, hand made, wooden, metals, glass. We also have a knit and crochet group at the Newton Public Library that meets Monday nights at 7pm and once a month we go have lunch together at a local resturaunt.   One member of the group is working on her spinning skills.
