Ok, looks like she has a serger, but does anyone know if I could do this without a serger?  I want one of these coats, but $400 plus getting it shipped from Ireland is a little more than my budget can take.

besides, she only makes it in size 12, boo.

so, I started silkscreening on metal at work last night.  MUCH more difficult and finicky than on cloth or paper!  Got frustrated and did a facepalm...and now I have a black handprint on my face.   Roll Eyes

Chickpea Curry

    1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 carrot, sliced into coins
    1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash
    2 tablespoons oil
    1 can coconut milk
    1 tablespoon curry powder
4 ounces potato, peeled and cubed
    1 can chickpeas
10 sweet basil leaves or 2 tsp dried basil
    2 tablespoons tamari
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon sugar

Heat some oil and fry the garlic and onion with the Mrs Dash, then add the coconut milk, stirring well.

Stir in the remaining ingredients in order, bring to boil, and simmer until the potatoes are cooked.

Serve with rice.  Can be prepared in advance and reheated.
8  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Re: Potholder loom adventure on: May 30, 2011 08:33:55 AM
Nice work Francorios!  I use yarn on mine, but I make squares for blankets/rugs/pillows (as soon as I get a camera I'll post pics!)  I have used t-shirt yarn, plarn, and jute twine, but then my potholder loom is metal.
