1  konnor doll in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: January 23, 2012 08:28:11 AM
This is the latest doll that I made, for a little boy called Konnor, he is such a funny guy.

He calls my dolls "Mariana's Doll" and he really wanted one of him, with a pirate hat!

This was the closest I could get, I've seen lots of online pictures of pirate hats and could not decide on one. The thing is that he enjoyed it the same.

a detail on his curly hair.

See ya, Mariana.

2  My amigurumis in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: October 07, 2011 06:50:21 PM
It's been a while since I last posted here. During this time I crocheted a lot of stuff. Really a lot. I decided to post just a few over here, and all of them are amigurumis created by me. Did not use anyone else's pattern. What you think about them?

this doll is 13 inches tall, really chubby and cute! It was supposed to be a mini version of myself, lol.

this little fish fits in the palm of my hand.

this pink pig turned out quite big, it is about 13 inches long too.

these were the latest, I created this week. The blue royal duck was suppose to be a macaw, but I guess I could not figure the mouth right, and it turned into a duck, so I finish its feet just like a duck. I liked the final result anyways.

The tree is front and back just like you see here, and I will hang on my front door when Christmas time come.

The snowman is about 7 inches long, and it stands by itself, I tried to make the arms resembling a branch tree.

That's all for now, see ya.
You can see more things I make on my blog.

3  crazy hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: December 14, 2010 06:12:27 PM
So I believe this is the craziest hat I've crocheted so far.
I don't have a pattern, which I regret a little for not writing it down as I made it, because it fits perfectly.
It may look kinda weird, but in the end, I start to believe it is cute!
I used dc, sc and hdc. As you can see part of it I used a fuzzy yarn together with a simply soft thread.

shot attempt from the top.

See ya

I've made these bookmarks a couple days ago, and I simply loved then.

I'm posting the pictures, but I intend to post the pattern later on if you guys like it.

See ya.

5  Baby blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: October 06, 2010 12:06:45 PM
It took me some time to make this blanket. It was very easy, it's a huge granny square, but I was making several other projects.
This one is about 30 in wide.

I also made a small beret matching.

See ya,
Mari D.

6  Crazy hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: October 06, 2010 11:58:34 AM
I've made this one night three weeks ago for a Crazy Hat day at my job.
I didn't have one, and didn't want to buy one, so I had some cotton yarn left from other projects and decided to make one.
I was doing it without any pattern, just began with a small circle and kept going until it fit my head. It was all made in dc.

Here are some pics.

It turned out a little bit small, but I enjoyed it the same way.

8  So, I crocheted a blanket. in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: September 03, 2010 05:02:46 PM
Finally I am done with it.

I started this blanket thinking about my couch, just for decoration purposes. But it's so warm, that is great for spleeping too (why wouldn't it be? it's a blanket!  Roll Eyes )

So, here are the pics.

My bed is a queen size, it doesn't cover it all, but good part of it. It would be perfect for one person to sleep, or two people watching a movie.

Pattern detail.
Shells and Arches. Really easy.

Border, it was simple two rows of triple crochet

And simple folded.

Hope you like it.

9  Yellow Neckwarmer in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: August 23, 2010 05:28:25 PM
I loved this bright yellow yarn, it's thick and yet cozy.

I made this neckwarmer (I know it's still really hot, but I had to do it).

I got all dressed up to take these pictures.  Roll Eyes

Didn't follow any patterns, but got inspired for these:

The flower is not as pretty but it works.

10  Crochet Earrings in Crochet: Completed Projects by Mari D. on: August 23, 2010 05:19:07 PM
So, I decided to create some crochet earrings. Didn't follow any pattern, just made a three petal flower.

I'll try to explain. Here's what I did.

Using crochet thread, size 3.

Chain 3, sl joint, chain 1, 6 sc in the loop, sl joint in the front loop
*chain 2, 3 dc in the next st, sl in the next st* (repeat until you have 3 small petals), then sl joint
now, through the back loop only, sl joint in the first sc,
*then chain 4, 3 tc in the next sc, sl joint* (repeat until you have 3 big petals), then sl, and finish it.

After the flower is done, I got some beads, and the materials needed to make earrings.
