1  Very first soap! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by FancyKetchup on: May 26, 2010 03:44:28 PM
Hi guys! This is my very first post, but trust me, I've been lurking the past few weeks... Tongue

So in my Chem class we had this project to make a soap company and (obviously) produce a soap product, and I'm pretty proud of the outcome and I just wanted to share it with you.

I dunno if you can see the ingredients label in the picture, but I'm just going to tell you about it anyways. We used an 80/20 mix of lard and coconut oil, and we scented it with vanilla FO (super weak, from Hobby Lobby) and ground clove and nutmeg. There's also some super fine sand that we marbled in to use as a pumice. I know it's really hard to see the actual soap because of the packaging, but this is the only picture I have of the soap for now.

All comments and criticism is appreciated! Cheesy
EDIT: Woops! Link wasn't showing up...for a second I forgot my bbcode. Bleh.
