THANKS!!! I just made two shawls.....then stitched them up...one side is actually a little bigger than the other, but you can't tell!! Grin Roll Eyes  I think you might be able to see the seam in the pic... ok not really but I'll post another picture so you can see it when I dye it again...

This is the first thing I've crocheted from a pattern!!!!  I dyed it pink...but I'm gonna go back and dye it fushia...

anyways here it is...(being modeled by my sister, I'll take a better pic so you can see it better after it becomes fuscia...)

I was actually wondering where to get astro turf because I was going to make a bag just like that!

If I'm not mistaken, you can get astro turf at 'Home Improvement' wonderlands...like Lowe's or Home Depot

I work in the grocery store bakery with the fake wedding cakes...and we always just use royal icing...we change out the displays every so often and just soak the dummy cakes in water for a couple of hours and the icing kinda just melts off...but that's off-topic, you were asking what to seal it with, I'm sure the stuff your mom got would work, or I think that you could just spray it with a clear NON yellowing polyurethane  (sp?)  or something like it.

I do that too, except I'm to lazy to hem them up...and most capri pants I get are still too long...I like the way they frey just a little bit...I think I'm gonna hem up some this summer for a different Wink look!

those are too cute!!! I've got some white slip on keds that I've only worn about 2 times...cause I don't wanna get them dirty...and I've always wanted to get a tattoo on my foot!!    Wink
