I've finished two projects on the list so far. One WIP from last year, a miniature modified version of the weekender to be used as a lunch box for two:

It has outside pockets on each side and a top strap. I also used insulating interfacing to keep things cold or hot as they may need.
The person I gave it to also likes space so I lined the inside with some space fabric I found in my stash:

As you may notice I ran a little short on space so I substituted some patch work with the exterior piping fabric to make it work.
The other project I finished was a mini patchwork wallet.
Leslieshappyheart had sent me some scrap of black and white material to play around with scrappy patchwork. This is what I came up with:


The bow was a leftover from a vintage piece I had modified and I thought it added just the right splash of color. I made the wallet with a big pocket for cash and then two facing pockets for cards.
I feel like I'm off to a great start on my list, I just hope I can keep up the momentum.
