1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Brain slugs: amigurumi on: June 15, 2010 09:26:17 PM
I crocheted a large and small amigurumi brain slug. I used the small one to attach to my Turanga Leela costume last Halloween. Hope you enjoy!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Large Dorset Dangling Earrings (with tutorial link) on: June 15, 2010 09:15:25 PM
These are just larger versions of the Dorset post earrings I posted in another topic. These ones dangle instead. I made these by wrapping and weaving embroidery thread around metal hoops. I hope ya'll enjoy!

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Dorset post earrings- (now with tutorial link) on: June 15, 2010 09:10:58 PM
I made these earrings by wrapping embroidery thread around hoops (either metal or plastic) and then weaving the thread. I then hot-glued posts to the back. I'm including a variety of pictures because I've made them in a few different colors. I hope you all like them!

4  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Short 'n Sweet Lacy Bolero on: May 13, 2010 08:32:44 PM
I got this pattern out of the Stitch 'N Bitch Happy Hooker Crochet book. I used Off-white cotton as my material. In the original pattern there were sleeves, but I left them out.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Yoga mat bag on: May 13, 2010 08:12:31 PM
I found this pattern online and had to make it:

Instead of changing colors every row I used variegated cotton yarn and skipped the bother. Since I don't know how to knit I crocheted my ichord. I'm pretty happy with it.

Here are a couple pics:

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Meatwad Amigurumi on: May 13, 2010 07:41:43 PM
After seeing someone on Craftster make an awesome Master Shake amigurumi, I decided to make my own Aqua Teen Hunger Force Crew. I only got as far as Meatwad before getting distracted, but Meatwad is my favorite, so that's okay =)

I basically just crocheted a ball, and around 2/3 to 3/4 of the way to finishing, I used felt and embroidered the eyes and mouth. I made a second Meatwad and used nothing but embroidery thread, finding it easier than working with such small pieces of felt. Finally, I filled him with stuffing and closed him up. Voila!

Complete and ready to chill.
