I received my package from queenofmarigold a few days ago and finally got the pictures off my camera today! Everything is great, so without further ado:
Here's everything together, including her note!

Here's the bag in action, I'm using it already as it's the perfect size! Big enough to fit my wallet and phone and maybe a book, but not so big that I feel dumb carrying just a few tiny things in it. And the strap is perfect for carrying, not like most totes. Exactly what I needed! Plus (most importantly!) the bleach stencil of the Skyrim logo looks great Smiley

Next, awesome shadowmark coasters! Half of them upside down, haha. I love that they're like a secret code in the game, even if the only one I usually see is the "loot here" symbol. I have need of coasters all over so they will come in very handy!

And, awesomest saved for last, a handmade journal (right? but so well done!) with a bunch of pages written in Dragon! I am totally in awe of queenofmarigold's skills in making this. Even the dragon text is written so perfectly! I've always loved books and so thought bookbinding was just awesome, but I've never tried to make even a tiny book. This really looks professional, though, don't tell me this is your first attempt at this kind of thing - is it? I haven't tried to translate it yet, but I will certainly get on it soon!

I'm so grateful to have gotten such a perfect and great swap package! Thank you so much queenofmarigold!! I may have overdone the exclamation points, haha. Smiley

Oh! Now I remember what else I forgot to write about! The little pillow is a catnip toy for your kitty (mine tried to steal it!). I was really proud of the painting on the little earring box!
Also, I hope the arm warmers fit your arms! Here are some other pictures of them:

I never made anything like them before!

I got my package from DustyChica a few days ago, but have been swamped so here it finally is!

This was on top when I opened the package, a great crocheted pillow with the Medallion symbols from Ocarina of Time! I don't remember if I have it upside down or not, but it's great either way, and subtle! so people who don't know what it is will just think it's awesome and not nerdy ;p

Next, an awesome Makar tote. He's so colorful and perfect looking! I love the shading on the felt that makes it look just right Smiley And on the back of the tote is the Wind God's Aria. In that picture you can also see the little notes DustyChica left me - a treasure chest and little Navi Smiley

Visible in the last picture, earrings inspired by the pearl necklace and dark pearl loop from Spirit Tracks.

Extra, and totally spoiling me!, an awesome shawl in Caron Spa yarn so it's super soft and nice against my skin Smiley I dunno how she knew I was dying for a shawl or cowl or something, but I was and now I have a completely awesome one! I wore it the other day and got loads of compliments.

Here's everything:

Thank you so much DustyChica! I love everything!

Finally here are the pictures from the package I got from ZidishaLuxe more than a week ago! Everything is AWESOME!! It's amazing that this is her first swap, and I hope she likes everything I sent her as much. Sorry for the picture quality, they were taken with a camera I'm really not too fond of.

First, an awesome tank top that she hand sewed all the sequins on to! The octopus is so cool, and the bows on the pocket are wrapped in what looks like chainmaile.

Here's a closeup of the octopus.

Next, two painted web belts. One with tentacles and the other with a cute little cthulhu on the buckle and the phrase that Cthulhu's followers chant: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn". So awesome.
Here's both with a washable fabric iron-on cuttlefish and the nicest looking letter I've ever gotten. I need to figure out what to put him on that will be awesome enough!

And the cthulhu belt. So neat.

She also included a skirt that she made for me but that she said didn't work out right. I don't see what could've went wrong with it, it looks great to me! Unfortunately it's a bit too big and long but I think it might fit my sister really well, which she should like a lot.

And last, my favorite! A awesome Cthulhu fabric video game holder! Some of the tiny slots are too small for my ds games but I'll find a way to make it work Smiley It's SO AWESOME I really can't put it into words. I totally love it. The brow parts are vinyl I think, and she has to have made the piping herself because it matches the interior fabric. All in my favorite colors, too!

Thank you SO MUCH ZidishaLuxe!!

Now it's my turn to post the amazing things I got from BunnieBard Smiley She totally spoiled me, so I'm extra glad she liked everything in my package to her!

My very own Hylian Shield backpack! I am so jealous of BunnieBard's crochet skills - I can only hope mine will someday be close! Little Penelope agreed to pose for the picture, sort of, as long as I gave her a present from the package.

And here is the present she wanted: fairies! A crocheted keychain for me (in blue) and a toy for her. I think I'm going to make myself a teatowel tote like I sent BunnieBard, with a little loop just for attaching this keychain to it. Now I'm excited for it!

The most amazing pencil case ever! Vacillating over which crafty bits need a holder most... crochet things? Sewing things? Paint brushes? Maybe clay? Hmmm... Meanwhile my fianc keeps stealing it and pretending to cut my limbs off with it. Sigh, boys.

A life bar soda can/bottle cozy. I'm impressed by the ability to cross stitch over crochet! That's what you did, right? I think I need to figure out how to do that for some family presents. It looks so even! I may have to use it every time I drink a beer from now on.

Some awesome magnets I'm going to take to work to decorate my desk. There is a metal cabinet above it that is dying for some unique magnets and these are going to be perfect. Maybe I'll print out Penny modeling that Hylian shield Smiley

Here's everything together, including a bunch of cotton yarn as an extra - I don't usually buy variegated so both colors are ones I've never used, but they're both my favorite colors. I'll have fun making presents for Penny (or maybe people, but they don't get as excited as the cat does Smiley )

Thank you so much, BunnieBard, for making this an incredible swap. I think this might have been my favorite swap ever. I hope we have another round! I had so much fun crafting things I would've loved to keep - and getting a package full of such wonderful goodies! Thank you DizzerSpinninRound for organizing, too. Great job pairing us up Smiley

I got my package from Ollieorange last week and am only just finally posting my pictures. I love everything! She really paid attention to the colors and stuff I liked and requested.

A pretty blue and brown bird embroidery to put up on my wall. So cute, and in my favorite colors too.

Some really cool little pots with chalkboard paint birds on them. I love the chalkboard paint idea, it's so easy to tell what everything is, especially as a novice gardener who mixes them up all the time. I already had some herbs conveniently waiting in those little peat starter things and these were perfect for them!

All filled up and written on and everything. They inspired me to fill up any other little pot I had with the other little plants waiting in their peat:

An awesome green and purple fused glass wind chime! I asked for something to decorate my balcony, and this is just what I wanted! The little bird house has swirls on it and the light green/clear glass pieces remind me of leaves. There are cute little copper birds in each piece of glass.

Here are all the extras - some feathers that my cat is insane about (I never even knew she liked feathers!) and a charm that matches the little birds that are in the wind chime.

And a close up of the copper bird charm. I can't wait to use it in something, maybe a cell phone charm if I can figure out how to do it.

Thank you for everything, Ollieorange, and sorry I took so long to post the pictures Smiley

Pupper sent me an awesome package for this swap! I'll get straight to the pictures because I'm like five days late on posting them, haha.
Here's everything together:

And a close up of the awesome blue jay and cardinal plaque that's straight from my wist! Totally perfect!

Based on this:

A cool tree with sewn birdy ornaments also straight from my wist.

A close up of my favorite one, I think.

Based on:

My cat's favorite item, by far, an adorable felt blue jay and cardinal stuffed with catnip.

Based on:
A video of her being ridiculous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6UQFgUqwvk

You might notice her in one of the other pictures, trying to go through the bag and find the toys she can smell.

8  Re: Dinosaur Swap Rd 2 in The Swap Gallery by mouser882 on: March 24, 2010 06:01:05 PM
I got my swap package from turtleslovecabbage a few days ago! Somehow we made half the same things for each other.
But anyway she sent me a great package! Can you believe this was her first swap??

She sent me a very pretty Pterodactyl necklace, which is made of recycled plastic! I'm not a big jewelry fan but I really like this, it's so pretty!

A stenciled I <3 Dinosaurs shirt:

A pretty brown crocheted scarf, modeled by little Penelope

A gorgeous and so well done little stegosaurus changepurse, I think inspired by the one on a previous swap (I made one of these too - and turtleslovecabbage's is way better!) She recycled the zipper off of one of those bags like sheets come in. I never would have thought but it's an awesome idea.

And my favorite bit, a dino crochet hook case that is going to be exactly perfect because I'm too lazy sometimes to have to re-roll the hook roll I have now and tie it up all nice and this one just shuts all nice and easy with the little velcro under the button Smiley Perfect! Plus, it's apparently made from re-purposed placemats!

You can see it closed in the picture of everything together - there you can see the cute little dinosaur Smiley

Here's most everything, together:

In this you can also see the extra dinosaur fruit snacks, mmm, and the little bag she made also. I can't tell what it's made of but it seems like maybe fused plastic bags?

This was an awesome swap package and I'm totally embarrassed by mine now! Turtleslovecabbage has a great future in swapping, I think!

9  Re: Webcomics Swap gallery in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by mouser882 on: February 28, 2010 11:38:19 PM
Mm, I got a package for this swap from an angel finally.
A cut paper picture of the main character from Gunnerkrigg Court

Magnets with characters from a bunch of webcomics, the middle two are a robot bird and coyote from Gunnerkrigg Court. The right two are Philippe from Achewood and Choochoobear from Something Positive. On the left is a girl from Subnormality but I can't place the top one.

Here's everything together:

Besides the two above there's also a little handmade doodle pad in the bottom right and some keychains on the left of Philippe form Achewood and Coyote from Gunnerkrigg court. The keychain part keeps falling off so I think I'm going to use them as bookmarks, which I never have quite enough of.
Thanks, angel, and Camelama for working on getting me a package in the first place Smiley

10  Re: Cat lovers swap gallery! in The Swap Gallery by mouser882 on: January 22, 2010 12:24:05 AM
Every time after she "hurts" it, she spends a little while licking it and hugging it.  It is the cutest thing ever to watch.
Gamemom, that is the cutest thing I've ever heard!! I'm really glad she likes the toy I made her Smiley

And I received my package from Tygermane! Penelope loves it, too. Hope you guys like a lot of pictures!
First, here's Penelope checking the box out (she's good at smelling the catnip and knowing that she wants it RIGHT NOW) (I'd shown it all to my mom earlier so it was repacked)

Here's everything (ish)!

The extras are very cute. A little cat that grows in water, some adorable cat buttons, a pretty flower cat fabric pin with a button center, and a cat necklace kit. Plus treats for my little tubby girl. AND a crochet chain made by Tygermane's daughter (Penny has stolen it already).

She seems to like the blanket Tygermane made for her, a lot. I'll admit I might have sprinkled a little catnip on it so she would make cuter poses. It's true! I drugged my cat! She's sleeping on it right now, though Smiley fleece is her favorite blanket to steal. In this picture she's trying to drag herself all over it but it isn't staying put like the carpet does when she holds it with her claws like that.

Tygermane called it "Penelope's Garden" Smiley I quite like it - it's so brightly colorful and soft!

On to the neat catnip toys. There is a felt dead fish and three matching square ones with little bells attached and the cutest little cat faces on one side. Toy pictures are hard to get because she moves so quickly with them. If she could tell, she would be mad at me for posting a picture this silly of her on the internet. I think she was rubbing it all over her face. She loves rubbing on catnip things!

Also a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suH_T3PROq0
The video is better! Go watch it! But she didn't want us watching her play so she stopped before she really got to it. She looks very fat in this video but she really just has that weird hangy belly, I guess from being spayed?

Some treats as an extra! She really likes treats. I was trying to use them as bribes to get her to look at the camera for pictures, but she just kept jumping up to my hand to get it instead of letting me take a picture of her looking all nice. So a picture of her little fat butt eating instead. I tried to set a treat out for her but she wanted to dig her nose in/chew on the canister:

My favorite item after the blanket, a little dress up bow that slides on to her collar! It matches just right, too. And it balances out her huge ears and eyes. I may leave it on her as she isn't bothering it. PS she would NOT sit still for nonflash pictures so they all turned out blurry! But with a flash her eyes reflect too much and turn into huge glowing discs! Angry ears in the second one, too. She was being quite a little brat.

Penelope and I say thank you for all the goodies, Tygermane!
