141  Re: Superman Duct Tape Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by kaleesi on: April 02, 2005 03:35:09 PM
I know I'm supposed to be doing a tut with pictures and I'm working on it I promise - I'm just so OCD it's hard!

Anyway I was wanting to finish up my newest purse first - and here it is  Grin That's my beautiful daughter with a gorilla LOL. The purse is the same as my last up to a point and then I changed the handle and added a top flap instead of a closing strap.

Thanks
I originally was looking for superman comics but couldn't find ones to suit my purse and I found all those covers... So I used them. I did an image search on Google for superman comics.

The dimensions are 7x10 front/7x5 sides/5x10 bottom.

The purse didn't hold up all that well so for the next one I added a stiff plastic placemat from Walmart to the back before I taped it and added some clear thin plastic to the handles to reinforce them. It worked out a lot better.

Good luck : )

Here are some new ones I made...
