Those Koroks are so cool! I like the yellow one too. What a charming little guy.

Oh I forgot to put up some pictures of the treasure chest I sent to Crying Goddess. Please pardon the bathroom sink, it's the room with the best light, because there's a skylight in there.  Grin

Here's what I received from Crying Goddess  Grin

All together...

First a lovely yarn wrapped Triforce!

And it's reversible. Already has a home on my dresser next to my (small) ATC collection.

Then some awesome Navi themed magnets, as well as the one with the Triforce of Courage on it. For all my notes and reminders when I need to be told "HEY. LISTEN. WATCH OUT."

And last but not least some kitty toys from the three Goddesses themselves.

The cats love them. Luna has already hidden hers somewhere, and Kass was trying to get in my lap to smell the box before I even opened it.

Thanks again! I love it all.

3  Re: Zelda Swap Round 4 (Signups CLOSED) Sendouts 04/04/) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by kuraikatara on: April 05, 2012 06:42:01 PM

So I end up having to go help a friend out today and forget to take the package with me. Get home at 5 and realize what I've done. Tell my mom that "I have to get to the Post first thing in the morning!" and she looks at me like I'm crazy. "Uh, tomorrow is Good Friday. The mail doesn't run."

I guess I'll be sending on Monday now >.>

I really really REALLY don't like being late. I feel bad. ;^; Sorry everyone.

I'm so glad you like her Rosie! I want to do another ATC with henna designs sometime. It was actually very soothing, I guess it's like zentangles. Grin

And no worries about the picture, I took one too and while it's not the best quality you can see more of the details in the 'henna'

I had lots of fun confusing people by playing 'find the tiger'. "What tiger? Wait, woah!" Only one person found it without me having to point it out to them. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing though XD

Oh that coffee themed one is cute! Next time I'm adding tea to my list of themes.

I received this wonderful Sehkmet card from Bunnie1Kenobi! I wish I could have gotten a better picture but the background is a nice shiny metallic gold, and my camera just wasn't having it.

I'm so glad you both like your cards and that they got to you safely ^.^ I love using my prismacolor pencils on black paper. Thanks!

I received two ATCs in the mail last night when I got home! Love them both.

First from Mountain and Clouds a kitty at nom time for my Cats theme, <3

As it came from his home state of Hawaii, Stitch demanded it have a place of honor next to him on my dresser. He keeps my earrings safe so I relented and let him hold it.

Then I opened one from AmandaBL for my Goddess theme,

The text at the bottom appears to have been cut directly from a dictionary. It is the definition of Goddess "1. A female deity, 2. figuratively: A woman extraordinarily good or beautiful" At least I think that's what it says. I don't have it in front of me right now and can't read it in the picture. It's so lovely! She also sent me this little shiny (embossed?) picture of a knight.

He has reminded me that I need to get working on my "Soul Journal" now that I finally have the physical journal. Amanda also generously sent me a little extra treat, a gift certificate for a salon that she wouldn't have need to use. She's so sweet.

Thank you both!

I recieved from Zkatom! Thank you so much! <3 I only hope she likes mine as much.

Please click on it to make it bigger! It's amazing! I squeed when I opened up the little card (with a kitten face on the front, so cute!) and saw it. My neighbors must think I'm nuts XD

I love the kitties and the "Cheese balls" ATC Teachart, you did an awesome job, and I never would have guessed them for your first XD

I only have one more card to finish and then they should ALL be in the mail. Hopefully by tomorrow. Maybe even by tonight if I'm not busy!

Those trees are so cool! I really like the whole set, that would be nifty to put on the wall somewhere.

So happy Kwality likes my Kitsune ^.^ I wasn't sure his tails were gonna work out for a while there. Fiddly things.

I got an ATC today! From Gala_Apples, here it is

WooHoo! What better way to start off a set than with the Triforce. Grin

9  Dementor Preparedness Kit in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by kuraikatara on: February 02, 2012 04:38:25 PM
I'm not too sure if this belongs here, but the wand is made of paper, and the art was done on paper so here it goes in papercrafting! That is what makes the most sense to me anyways.

This was done as a Christmas gift, and was sent with a care package to a friend who had been in a flood and lost her home. I KNEW she needed some delicious chocolate and that she also enjoyed Harry Potter. So I of course drew a bit of inspiration from this Dementor Attack Kit and rolled with it. Heres what I came up with.

Of course I shoved a bit more chocolate in the box when I sent it, along with about six different types of hot cocoa! I failed to get any other pictures of the wand but I made it with paper, mod podge, hot glue, and paint. The tutorial is on instructables I think. Here is a better picture of the art, she told me her patronus would definately be a lioness!

But of course I had to do just one more thing to make it perfect. Presentation is key! So it had to be delivered via owl to me before I sent it to her.

=3c I absolutely adored doing this little project. I think I might have to do one for myself soon. Chocolate and all of course!

Yum I made it today! For breakfast  Roll Eyes We are a little ridiculous sometimes.

I made mine with the Pumpkin Spice pudding (Great minds must think alike Tyger :3), which wasn't quite orange but it was delicious. I apologize for the bleh picture. I only have my camera phone.

Thanks so much for the idea Sweets!
