3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My Belly Dance Tassle Belt on: August 23, 2010 01:08:28 AM
 Grin Hi all!

Well..this project is 95 percent complete..so its close enough!

This is my take on the lovely tassel belt, with instructions from kasihime.

The last thing I have to add are the tassels, but after looking at her original picture, I notice that the cords are spiral. So trying to figure out if they are spiral crochet..done VERY losely, or is it something else.

I also tried to do a close-up of the darts, but my camera is being non cooperative. Samsara was very nice to offer a great suggestion for doing the darts. Basically, you end up doing a very short row, of only 4-5 stitches completely, then go back to the full row you had been doing. I nearly went insane trying to figure that mess out.

if I can just figure out the spiral looking twists, holding the 2 front tassels...

hehe. I've done almost everything else.

Hello again. Cheesy

Here is my doll once more..this time, with proper stripes and such.

Sill working on putting a light into the back braid..but Im going to leave her alone for right now. She is painted with glow paints..so she does glow dimly in the dark.

I hope you like her. She looks much different than earlier.

Im also working on another companion Na'vi piece for her.

I really had alot making this doll. I plan to make many more..

This time..with the RIGHT materials..hehehe
