1  Vintage Pizza Box :D in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Totalgeek on: July 09, 2010 08:55:35 AM
Hey guys. Well first post in the paper section Cheesy
So! I'm really disorganized with any and all art supplies, especially my coloring pencils and pastels and such. Plus i always just dump everything in my purse and hope for the best.
I love the vintage look on things so i decided to make a pencil pouch,
the pencil pouch turned into a pizza box (inspired by a tutorial right here on craftster)
and eventually i drew the following retro pic on it:

aged it a bit with tea and cinnamon....
and i got this:

and here it is full and open and travel size Cheesy

I love how it turned out, i'll probably end up making more vintagey boxes since this one was fun to make Cheesy

2  Purple & Cream Tea Set :D w/ breakfast tray! (picture chunkeh) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Totalgeek on: June 17, 2010 08:23:15 AM
Helloo guys, so!
I've been crocheting up a storm since school let out and i am proud to say i finished a little crochet tea set for my 2 year old niece to match her new little playhouse.
I'm really proud of this and the excess pics probably give that away Cheesy

The whole set includes:
-Little breakfast tray
-Lil Milk Jug
-Sugar bowl WITH removable lid and a mound of crochet sugar XD
-2 cups, with 2 saucers
-I really didn't know what to call it and it started out as a bread basket but man..a blueberry muffin and chocolate chip cookies looked a lot cuter than toast Cheesy

And here it is together:

The teapot and milk jug:

The tray:

Sugar bowl and cups:

"Bread" basket:

.....i just included this one Cheesy:

Sorry for alllllthe pics i was just excited lol
It took me about 2 or so weeks to finish this and i made it all up as i went along. i had fun and NOW my sisters have requested a bad ass (can i say ass? oh well) tea set for their pirate tea party. thanks for lookin! Cheesy

Well my mom's getting tired of finding yarn in awkward places so! i whipped up a basket using this pattern:http://www.crochetspot.com/free-crochet-pattern-easy-basket/ expanding it for my tastes, and adding a few touches of my own Smiley

mah sister holding it up to hold it's shape

and full of my stuff Cheesy

this was great for getting myself organized (i have some trouble with that. heh)

4  mah very first crochet projects/first ever post (drawstring bag & mehh..hat) :D in Crochet: Completed Projects by Totalgeek on: April 06, 2010 03:49:51 PM
Hey guys! New to craftser, but longtime stalker/admirer.
Well my new year's resolution was to learn to crochet (and totally master star wars origami, but that's another story!) and i tried it....and got frustrated but i loves it! Cheesy
Anyway, below is my very first project ever, a messy mehh mistake filled hat (the white was totally unintentional. ran out of yarn. heh) and my shameless face hidden XD

and my little drawstring bag i can lug my yarn around in....a-top mah doodle box...

for the bag, i used this tutorial: http://krstl.tripod.com/id26_drawstring_purse.htm
but..didn't exactly follow it completely. i modified it a bit to make the purse bigger for my liking. it's not perfect, but i'm proud of myself Cheesy
