1  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Australian Badge Makers on: August 19, 2011 06:29:51 AM
Hi all,

I hoping I could call on your crafting knowledge! I recently purchased this Badge-a-Minit badge maker: http://www.badgeaminit.com/114benpressy.html

However I am starting to think that this was a poor choice as I am finding buying replacement components near impossible unless I purchase them from overseas and then the shipping is exorbitant ($150+).

So! What I was wondering is:

1) Does anyone know where I can purchase 1.25" BAM components WITHIN Australia?
2) If not, does anyone have a better alternative to BAM that is more Oz-friendly?

I looked EVERYWHERE for a wolf charm for months. I had no idea it would be so hard to find. I eventually found it by accident on this site

Sash: No, I haven't seen it, but it sounds funny - not to mention true lol

I feel like I'm just adding yet another to the growing pile but, as I haven't posted anything in a while, I thought I'd put it up anyway.

I made this for my sister's birthday last week.

That looks great! I've been saving scraps for a postage stamp quilt myself but I never thought to group them in colours like that - which is weird, cause I'm a bit of a rainbow freak. Nice job!
