1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Swinging Granny Top on: March 27, 2011 04:42:47 AM
Thank you very much everyone  Grin

I totally was'nt even thinging of putting a long sleeve underneath (brainfreeze). She wore it to school Friday and all her friends loved it.  Also it works great since it's made from a really soft cotton yarn, it should be awesome for even the summer months.
She picked out some colors she wants her next one, its great, a top that works with all the seasons.

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: St. Pattie's Day Cable Sweater on: March 14, 2011 06:43:40 PM
Thanks everyone, yes it is crocheted, if I was to knit one it would take me about a year lol. This sweater takes me about four days, once you get the cable pattern down it works up really quick.  This pattern is from Family Circle Crochet 2006. It's nice because the pattern is written for childrens size 2T all the way up to adult 2X.  It's a great pattern

Well it is that time again, friends and family start putting in there requests for an Irish Aran Sweater.  Just finished, I will say this pattern works up very quickly.  I made my husband one in black a few years ago (almost went blind lol).

Finishing my last one this weekend, I think by now I know the pattern by heart  Grin

Amazing, I love them both. I love the granny sampler, the bursts of colors makes a wonderfully fun blanket.  What kind of yarn did you use for the "color experiment" blanket? I love the blend of colors and how it flows. There beautiful, and I love the choice of pattern stitch, very unique.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Irish Fair Isle Vest on: February 22, 2011 07:05:40 PM
Just in time for St. Pattie's Day!! Designed this for my son, the fair isle could use some work, but he loved it.  I think the next time around I might make it alittle bigger, I keep forgetting that doing fair isles work causes your garment to shrink in alittle.  Would love to hear other's opinion on it.

9  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How to Increase Etsy Store/Facebook fan page traffic? on: February 07, 2011 06:44:08 PM
I hear you with the facebook page, I created one and only have 19 follower and that is friends and family lol. I was so excited when I finally openned my Etsy store and well, after a month the excitment is kind of died lol.  As a mother of three, sitting down everyday to blog really isent in the cards right now. Was hoping to find some inspireation or maybe a hidden
treasure among my fellow Crafster Community Friends.

As a child I would do the craft show circuit with my aunt every summer into fall and loved it. Living here on the East Coast now, I'm not really seeing to much of a oppertunity for that. So I am hitting the internet and branching out looking for new ways to share my craft.

I hoping everything goes well for you and if I happen to find that hidden treasure, I'll pass it along Smiley
