1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Attention all button makers! Advice needed! on: April 15, 2005 09:56:55 PM
Hi everyone!

I am planning on getting a button maker, to generate side income as well as to promote my goods, and I have a few questions about making it a side biz...here it goes!

1) I was wondering if the pay-offs are good enough to warrant the purchase of the equipment?

2) DId you make enough money to cover costs and make a profit?

3) Are there many customers/clients? As I know, many of you are US residents, and there are many butoon makers springing up. Would you have to fight off fierce competition? (i'm in asia, so not so much of a question for me, but it's interesting to know)

4) WHat would you say gives you an edge over competitors?

Thanks so much in advance! Smiley
