Well it's definitely getting colder up here in the Northern hemisphere... Tongue
Stitchin' to keep warm...jsmeine has been busy using up her stash..the scarf looks quite lovely on the clothesline.  The sweaters are quite creative.  I've thought of re-working some of my stash...just a bit aprehensive, and now, just plain busy! =]
Here's the pic of the baby sweater I forgot to add on my last post:

Excellent work on the market bags...=]
Bananaleg...again...you're just busting out the craftiness in all directions! And with excellent results, too!  I like the crafting w/the youngsters...I miss my littlest neices!  And the grandbaby isn't quite ready for crafts, yet! Wink

Well, I've got a lot cookin', too, knitting and a little crochet *are ya surprised??*
I've finally uploaded pics of some of the things, too! *I'm surprised!!*
Mom's socks((sssh...)):

these were trial to see if I could get the pattern. It called for worsted weight yarn and I used thrifted Red Heart.

Here's a hat for the grandbaby...another trial in smaller size needles and yarn:

Found a 'boy's' top-down baby sweater...same yarn as the earlier Capucine baby hat. I improvised w/I-cord closures.

Thank you, M....=] Baby doll blankie isn't much larger, but the yarn is used up!
Baby blanket:

used final bits of yarn for a (not-quite-finished) square motif that  I applied to my scrappy granny stripe:

I'm working off-and-on a green/white granny stripe, but have several more rows till that one is done.  I see final pic in October.  Here are some squares that are using up some green/white and pink yarns...in a Babette-type afghan(work in progress...need more pink!) I apologize for the poor picture quality and any headaches you get from it...

Way to go, Quazicat!!  Wink  I'd have a hard time picking! =]

Oh, if only I lived in Western Australia! =]  I've got enough sewing machines, for now tho! I'm also making my Sears clearanced machine work while I abuse it over the next several years learning to sew better...=]

Craftylittlemonkey...cute monkeys!!! I really love your crafty ideas that you get done!  I have lots of ideas, get distracted, and don't make as many as I'd like.  I've been going everyday to visit a friend who's been needing trips to Dr., etc.  so I take my crocheting.  I've gotten this little number done and from stash, too.

I'm nearly finished w/another that is a bit bigger, also from stash.  I could see making some more of these w/my small bit of pompadour yarns.
Here's the dishmat(fabric on both sides w/towel in the middle):

And here's my accquired threads for 1.99(also came w/needles, measuring tapes, other odds n'ends)

I'm not there yet, but let the winter hybernation begin when it does...I'm ready for some serious destashing!

Excellent progress that everyone is reporting...=]  Love the pics of your squares, clahup!  Can you move those around to get the layout you like best?
That1girl...can't wait to see your finished blanket...your squares are lovely!
KismetFyrechyld: can't wait to see your finished Dad blanket!! =]  You can do it!

Here's my latest...a baby-doll's blanket.  I'm using up little bits of yarn.  Also have a larger one in the same color scheme nearly finished, too.

Here's what I've been up to lately w/classes and crochet:

the folded star trivet:

my first 'stash buster' class from Monday.  I still have hand sewing to do on the back to finish.  Going for the thread today. =]

Serger class table topper:

that's last night's work.

More potholders...I did buy this yarn at a local thrift store and wanted to use it up quick.  I still have a bit left that will be made into charity hats.

today I've tried machine quilting my Raw Edge Circle quilt...w/less than stellar results...but I'm learning.  I'm going to do some tying and then the binding this week.
