1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / I make Uncle Sam tremble! on: July 05, 2011 10:37:35 PM
The Livingroom/familyroom in my house has a Americana theme per request of my husband.
It looks great and I love it, but the only problem is that every Fourth of July I can never buy or make anything that I don't already have up as an everyday decor.
The Friday before the 4th,I was cleaning up my craft desk and
ran across the Jellyfish earrings I posted recently and a similar idea popped in my head for a cute Independence Day craft.

He Jiggles...
He wiggles...
He just makes me giggle!
Let me introduce you to my little Uncle Sam!

I had so much fun making him.
He turned out exactly as I pictured in my head.

I would love to hear(read) your thoughts or comments.

2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Whats that hanging from your ears? on: June 30, 2011 08:33:19 PM
Why it's a Jellyfish!

I made these Jellyfish earrings recently and I forgot to post them here.

Also, I made these little cloud and lighting bolts earrings as well.

I just love them both!
However the Jellyfish are my absolute favorite,I love how they wiggle!

My sisters birthday was the 29th of August so for her birthday,I wanted to make her a cake.
I had been taking a some classes on cake decorating and decided to use my "practice" of a 2 layered fondant cake as hers.
Since she LOVES pink and butterflies,I decided to use that as my focus.

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / It's not stale,it's plaster! on: March 10, 2008 12:58:06 PM
That's right!
Plaster of Paris and my extra cake decorating supplies made this little cupcake.
It was the first one I made and a bit sloppy at that. The plaster, once thickened can become a bit difficult to push out those little metal cake tips. Its alittle bit smaller than a regular size cupcake.

Whatcha think?
