That looks so comfortable and breezy. I've been looking for dress patterns to try this summer that will be compatible with my body once I hit the third trimester, and this looks like it might be one of them. Thanks for the tutorial!

I picked up these grey canvas Converse-style shoes at the Salvation Army for something like five bucks, and debated dyeing them, drawing on them, or leaving them as they were.

Eventually I settled on the drawing option and took my laundry marking pen to them (I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot--a sharpie isn't good enough for this, since it would run rather sooner than later). And thus, my steampunk shoes were created.
