Hi Fellow Craftsters-

I just found out I will be a RA next year at my school, I am very excited. But I need some help from the crafters of the world. First, we need to make a postery type thing of where we are at on campus (library, class, sleeping, etc) and something to mark which one we are at. For example, my RA this year made a solar system thing and an astronaut marked where she is at. So, I need some idease for what I can make, my major is elementary education if that helps at all. Also, we need to make door decorations so I need some ideas for very creative door decorations (they have to have the residents name on it). Any help is really appreciated. Thanks so much!

7  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: List of organizations that need craft supplies on: March 04, 2006 08:31:40 PM
The St. Jude one is espically great! I think it would be cool for craftsters to make a bunch of kits and stuff and then send them all on behalf of craftster. Maybe we could all send our stuff to Leah with a couple of dollars for shipping. It would be a great way to donate and do it behalf of craftster. What does everyone think? Would you donate? Would Leah be interested?

Wow, I'm very sorry about this. But your friend is very lucky to have all of you. I would suggest doing a bake sale with the craft show. Maybe you could decorate cookies or cakes to look like breasts. Also just do regular baking goodies. I like the plaster idea, it sounds great! Maybe someone could make buttons, everyone likes buttons. You could do a pink ribbon as well as fun sayings. Sorry I don't have many ideas but I wanted to say you are a great friend for doing this.

Well it turns out that clarrabelle is flaking so we need one more angel for qazicat. I will post the list here first and see what happens. Qazicat has provided her whole list so if you have any questions feel free to pm her. Thanks!

1. A purse similar to this one. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20980.0     but it does not have to be made out of vinyl.

2. A scarf like aschnebly made for lasandri  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=66625.msg684390#msg684390

3. A button purse like this,  It doesn't have to be a clutch or made out of leather/vinyl.  But I would prefer that it had some kind of handle and a closure of some sort

4. A microscope pendant necklace made to my tastes, see below. 45 cm (18 inches) in lenght.  I have metal allergies ( Nickel) so i would prefer the clasp in silver.

1.  Handmade soaps.  my favourite scents are vanilla, lavender, sweet orange or frangipanni. choose one.

1.  A faerie doll like this one.  It would make me very, very happy and I would love you forever  if you made an angel doll instead of a faerie doll.

2.  Anything with a dragonfly theme.

3. An altered tin like these. Doesn't have to be exactly like these.
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=2071.0 or

4.  this is so cute. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=63827.msg687501#msg687501

1.  Dragonfly or Japanese-esque fabric.

2. Polymer clay,  Prefer Premo or Kato  brand. (PM me for colours)

I live in Australia.  My favourite colours are turquoise, purple, red and black. I'm not into pastels.
My personal style is Classic with a touch of fun.  I am not girly or trendy, I like clothes with tailored and simple lines.  The fun part comes in with my accessories, jewellery, purses, bags and the like.
I have two kitties.  My favourite food is sushi.  When I am not doing some sort of craft,  I scuba dive.  Sharks and rays are the most ultra cool sea creatures there are.  I also like Celtic knots, Asian motifs, Japanese fabrics, dragonflies, dragons, angels, big cats (tigers, panthers, leopards, cheetah, etc. ) and domestic variety cats too.
