I am normally a lurker but had to add this sweet little critter. He is my own creation and I am currently working on his pattern.
Deep in the world of dream is the dark forest of Nightmare. In this forest is a clan of Spider Monsters. My-Si never cared for scaring as his quiet demeanor never stood out. After years of being made fun of and bullied by his peers, he decided to run away. And waiting till his bullies came out of a dream hole he slipped through into our world. The first house he came through was loud with barking dogs and lots of kids yelling, he slipped himself back into a dream fold and came through in a quiet closet where he laid down to rest. When he opened his eyes a sweet child with blue eyes watched him and before he could run she swept him in a hug. Now the two are inseperable as he found his home protecting her dreams.

I hope you enjoy him!! I know me and my little one do!

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: stuffing amigurumi? on: April 13, 2013 10:31:34 AM
Well I used to buy fiberfill but I started doin more and more big crochet amis such as april dravens cosmo(<3 this pattern) but it takes like 3 bagsand its not cheap at that point. If your doing small things and have 8 or so critters out of a bag its cheap but 3 or 4 bags to one makes the stuffing alone 15 bucks let alone yarn and time. I have been playing with the idea of dryer lint? Just an idea!

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Oh what a tangled yarn we weave- (how do you store balls of yarn?) on: December 09, 2011 12:17:09 PM
I have had this problem before what I did was i went out and bought a big bag of the tiny little rubber bands, and wrapped it around the loose tail. I found it keeps them from unwinding while in a bag or tote. Smiley hope this helps.
