I got my package from Smmarrt today! =]
I was really impressed with her! She said she was a beginner and this is her first time working with the stuff really, i really dont see a beginners work in what she sent me! The techniques she used were very basic, but the way she composed everything makes it a very unique piece!
She made me a very cute clay covered tin! It is yellow with my favorite color Teal! And gold swirly accents. The bird is so cute and whimsical, so me!
Thanks again Smmarrt! You really should get more into clay!
what did you use to cut the blue zig zaggy border by the way? im curious! I can think of a few things but i may be wrong =]

I received from Miss-Barbara! She sent a lovely package =]
Thanks Miss B!

Excuse my school uniform! i just got home from school and the package was on the door step.

First a Lovely Crochet headband right from my wist, it is wider than i anticipated, but i still love it! It is in some of my favorite colors with some cute little beaded details at the ends that my crappy little camera wont capture

Some of the other stuff in my package: A T-shirt altering kit =]. a pair of crochet slippers (way too big for my tiny feet but they are still cute!), an altered wooden spoon because im going to school to be a chef =] its so cute and it has an inspirational saying on the spoon part!, some jolly rancher flavored lip balms, her first attempt at a fabric covered journal! it turned out great by the way!, a set of cute food notecards, and a beach themed note pad.

And last but not least, a ton of fabric swatches and a sewing projects book! Thanks!

Thanks for being a great partner Miss B! =] I wish everyone could see what i sent you.

I also did a personal swap with someone on here that has never done a craft swap before =] Shan-E-Bear!
I made her a cute Purple corduroy purse and some hand made soap, and gave her a choco icecream pin i sculpted from clay. She made me a Gorgeous corset waist cinch in a beautiful cream brocade fabric with small pink floral pattern here and there =], the lining is a blue velvet i did not get a photo of!

here is what i made for her:

The lining is a light green and white sparkly damask =]

And the best close up i could get of the hand sculpted button i made for the purse =]

Here is the waist cinch she made me! So gorgeous! and it fits perfect even though im smaller than the pattern she used, she was able to modify it down for me! =]
I told her i wanted to be able to grow into it also, because im in the middle of trying to gain weight! =] Its fits perfect laced all the way up as tight as i can get it, and when i gain something i will be able to wear it with some space in the back laced up =]

Best shot i could get of the back lol

Rlynn and I did a personal swap =] I sent her clothing patterns and a sushi pin i made from clay and a hand carved stamp!
Here is what she sent me in return!

She made me this cutest skirt! I LOVE it, the band and hem are a red broadcloth material and the skirt part is a cherry blossom print canvas type material, I LOVE THIS SKIRT! It fits perfect and its so comfy! I will def. be trying to do more swaps with you in the future Rlynn, i need more skirts ;]

Pattern on the skirt I LOVE the pattern!

And then she sent me a bunch of really awesome and beautiful fabrics! =] Rlynn is so generous! Usually people only send fabrics no one would ever use because they are so ugly and they just want to get rid of the stuff. I love it when people aren't stingy with their stash ;]
I really love the blue dandelion fabric!

I LOVE damask, and the one in the top right corner is beautiful, i have it in a olive green and a limeish green now =] the sheep are so cute too!

Here is that brighter green damask and some gorgeous florals! I dont usually like floral but this modern stuff is beautiful!

This is a trio of coordinating fat quarters i cant believe she gave me! Their absolutely beautiful! my favorites by far, and they have gold accents in them too!

Thats it! =] Thanks again Rlynn! I LOVE everything!
