In school, they make us start up small (VERY SMALL) businesses. As my line is Innovation, my business needed to be something new and - hopefully - groundbreaking. Most of my class does stuff like light control, music studios, import/export and ecological, organic earth-saving bags and medicine. I am doing headbands. at the latest competition I received 10th place (out of 40) which puts me 1st in my (own) class. The name of the company is Over The Rainbow first of all because I am Danish, and a headband in Danish is call a bow or a curve, and second of all, because I would like my shop to feature stuff that you cannot find anywhere else. I do not know if I succeeded, but I know the name got a bit lost in translation xD.

From the competition:

I still have the styropor head at home. She is very helpful, and takes up a little too much space xD I have bought some wigs for her, I just really love costumes and dress up accessories. I made the drawing too, and my school printed it. On the wall there is some of the more fun projects Ive made. I will post pictures if anybody is interested, but they are not very wearable, just pretty 

SO! my product is headbands with detachable "toppings". this is mostly flowers, bows and rosettes. Many people have complimented my work, but no one has bought it yet, so I am thinking of changing the concept to something more simple, something that people will understand better (not saying that people are stupid, but that the concept just may not be as grand and wonderful as I personally think it is)

Here are some examples of what I have been doing (everything is done by hand, except wowing the fabric and molding the headbands Wink

first I put fabric on the headbands. It is done by taking a strip of fabric (approximately 2 inch wide and 15 inches long) putting it on the outside, and gluing(with my beloved hot glue <3) it to the inside of the headband, so that I, later on, can glue a piece of lace to the inside to cover up the glue.
It is easier with lace, because you dont see the glue as much My whole life consist of trying to hide glue, but I love it so much <3

Different pics of headbands Ive made:
This is the plastic headbands (the basic, that I bought)
