1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 1950s Summer Dress (pic heavy) on: May 17, 2010 10:28:36 AM
So beautiful, it's dresses like this that have motivated me to learn how to sew Smiley
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / How can I print my own wallpaper? on: May 17, 2010 10:19:54 AM
Inspired by the wallpaper on http://www.finelittleday.com/?p=648, I've resolved to find out how to make my own. I love the idea of using images or words that either I or someone I know has made, and the boats that 8 year old Otto has drawn for his wallpaper reminds me of the pirates my little cousin Sasha constantly drew when he was the same age. It would have been awesome to turn them into the backdrop for a small room Smiley

The trouble is I have no idea of how to do this myself and the only answers Google turns up is either printing them off on A4 pieces of paper or paying someone else (usually a lot of money) to print it for me.

What say you, Crafters?

Brilliant! I love the colours and different squares. I've just learned to crochet and feel very impressed by what you've accomplished; it looks so much better and more lively than other crocheted blankets I've seen, too!

I'm learning to crochet and my first project is a surprise for my friend: I'm making a little doll of him. Yours is beyond amazing, I love the hair! I'm rockin' it.
