I love the shape of that bag! The matching zipper pouch is a great addition. Adding the little charm was a fabulous touch. Kudos!
Thanks so much!

That bag is great "Chopino9n2" I like the weave look. That button is neat too! The lining is very cool. The mug warmer & all the other extras are great too! ☺

Wow awesome & early!!!  I love the Harry Potter things & especially those potion bottles & the cute owl & also the magnets.  I so love all the flamingo things, the patches, the fabric, especially the printing kit, that is soi cool. The fabric you printed on is cool too. The tentecles is very well exucated & we'll done. This will be the first one I see. I'm going in for my back surgery tomorrow so won't be on here for a day or so. I can't wait to see more. Well you all have fun!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Sharalee 😀🦃

It's kind of like the weekender bag. I made this for my partner in "Make a bag & Fill it Swap". She said she liked it. ☺ It was a little hard & my old sewing machine😣 didn't want to go over the thick seams. But I got it made.😊 On one side it had a zipper pouch with a Panda charm. The other side I made pockets across, so she'd have more of them. I bought a tiny zip bag I put a few more charms in it.  I also made a zipper pouch with a Locke & key charm, small handmade card pouch & a handmade toy bear for her little boy, lip chap holder & ring to hold keys on, a mini junk album, & I bought a small embroidery kit of a monkey. A few other little things. Thanks for looking! ☺

Here is another purse that I forgot to post. I made it for Bunny1kenobi for Christmas. The lighting was horrible in the winter at my house so please excuse the terrible photos.

She wanted lots of pockets and compartments but she wanted to keep it slim and a crossbody purse. I thought this pattern fit the bill.
The two main sides pull apart and you have an easy access pocket in the middle with two pockets on each side. Two magnetic snaps hold it in place. And please ignore my messy floors and the cat hair. I have 5 cats, it's impossible.  Roll Eyes

See? I was having to hold her back the entire time I took pics.  Roll Eyes

Each side panel then opens up via a zipper on the top and each of these have a pocket inside.

The strap is adjustable and crossbody style. It also has another zippered pocket on the outside. After I was finished I wished I would have done this zipper in red. Next time! I love this fabric too. Bunny1kenobi picked it out and I happened to already have some on hand. Yay for the stash!

At this point my kitty, Dahlia, was getting mad that the bag was getting attention and she wasn't.  Cheesy
Bunny1 seemed to like it. I hope she does. It was a challenging pattern at first. I think I psyched myself out on it.  Tongue
Thanks for checking it out! Grin Grin Grin
Great bag "gozer" I like the shape of it & that it's an crossover bag & lots of pockets. The fabric is neat too! I might have to try that pattern. 😉

Glad you can use everything!

I was not sure about the color combo for you, but my only other choice in that line of Tula Pink fabrics was orange and yellow...ha ha...I think that would not have been the right choice!

This was the first time I ever made a pen/pencil holder for a notebook (and now, everyone I know wants one, including me!) Grin...

Just as a little side note...I took my pirate bag to knitting class and everyone commented nicely about it! Thanks for a wonderful swap!
Very lovely package "alwaysinmyroom" the 2 totes are cool. I like that they roll up when not in use. The zippered pouch is cute, as is the kleenex holder, pen & pencil holder on elastic strap to keep your book closed, a chapstick holder, & note book. Such a cool package!  😉

Another one from "The Book of Good Needlework".

Here's a link to one you can enlarge enough to read the text:
I remember making those with my Mom when I was 7 or 8. We used a wood spool & she hammer 4 small nails in. I had a lot of fun doing that. I can't remember what I made with it. It could coil into a rug. It kept me busy. I also cut up old socks & braided them into a rug. All the old things are neat now & it was fun, instead of all these plastics junk they have now!☺

As I recall, we considered them mosaics at the time.  I always loved the sparkly bits!
Yes your right "steiconi" mosaics, it's coming back to me. I have a small picture somewhere like that one. They were fun, a little messy. Outside is probably better to be at. I know I have burlap just need the cord maybe & the sparkly bits, a frame & I'm ready to make some? You could use beans or rice too. I remember something with them too!☺
