I hope this is OK to put this mini junk journal in here. I've made several in the past couple months. I'm working on one right now. I love your junk journals "Smmarrt" they are so well design & fun! ☺📓✨ I'll put the one I'm working on now in here soon.

2  Aeroplane bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Sharalee on: October 30, 2017 09:56:25 PM
It's kind of like the weekender bag. I made this for my partner in "Make a bag & Fill it Swap". She said she liked it. ☺ It was a little hard & my old sewing machine😣 didn't want to go over the thick seams. But I got it made.😊 On one side it had a zipper pouch with a Panda charm. The other side I made pockets across, so she'd have more of them. I bought a tiny zip bag I put a few more charms in it.  I also made a zipper pouch with a Locke & key charm, small handmade card pouch & a handmade toy bear for her little boy, lip chap holder & ring to hold keys on, a mini junk album, & I bought a small embroidery kit of a monkey. A few other little things. Thanks for looking! ☺

Here is another purse that I forgot to post. I made it for Bunny1kenobi for Christmas. The lighting was horrible in the winter at my house so please excuse the terrible photos.

She wanted lots of pockets and compartments but she wanted to keep it slim and a crossbody purse. I thought this pattern fit the bill.
The two main sides pull apart and you have an easy access pocket in the middle with two pockets on each side. Two magnetic snaps hold it in place. And please ignore my messy floors and the cat hair. I have 5 cats, it's impossible.  Roll Eyes

See? I was having to hold her back the entire time I took pics.  Roll Eyes

Each side panel then opens up via a zipper on the top and each of these have a pocket inside.

The strap is adjustable and crossbody style. It also has another zippered pocket on the outside. After I was finished I wished I would have done this zipper in red. Next time! I love this fabric too. Bunny1kenobi picked it out and I happened to already have some on hand. Yay for the stash!

At this point my kitty, Dahlia, was getting mad that the bag was getting attention and she wasn't.  Cheesy
Bunny1 seemed to like it. I hope she does. It was a challenging pattern at first. I think I psyched myself out on it.  Tongue
Thanks for checking it out! Grin Grin Grin
Great bag "gozer" I like the shape of it & that it's an crossover bag & lots of pockets. The fabric is neat too! I might have to try that pattern. 😉

I remember making those with my Mom when I was 7 or 8. We used a wood spool & she hammer 4 small nails in. I had a lot of fun doing that. I can't remember what I made with it. It could coil into a rug. It kept me busy. I also cut up old socks & braided them into a rug. All the old things are neat now & it was fun, instead of all these plastics junk they have now!☺

5  Re: Make Me A Purse/Tote And Fill It! GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by Sharalee on: October 13, 2017 09:29:53 PM
I received from "mandit1990" today. The bag is so pretty, a Paris print fabric with pink roses, I love it. We were there several years ago. The cute little charms & inside a kleenex holder, a rose clip, sea salt Carmel (yum), pretty pencils & a cute little character pin cushion. Thanks so much. I love it all. 😉😊⚘

Given that audio seems to have been MIA I've checked with craftADDchick if it's ok to post my patches here I sent to her.

One for her "skulls" theme

One for her Harry Potter theme.

Sharalee - I will work on yours this weekend and will send them out Monday or Tuesday (it's a bank holiday on Monday so suspect the post office will be closed.). Sorry for the delay, we had the "man-flu" and "kid-flu" here the last 2 weeks and I was a bit run off my feet.
That's fine "Inselaeffchen". Don't worry about it. So sorry you & your family were sick, hope you're all well now. Take care! ☺

The Skull patch is neat & the crochet patch is a great idea. Great patches! 😊

"JS" did amazing work on my doll. Meet Trashy Trish. She's such a darling. She has a client card with several appts  in her hand & her make up bag in the other hand & it clicks on & has a client under the perming machine. Ha, Just fantastic. She has a cute curl on her right side. Her face is just that 40's look. Sweet Jeanne your amazing. Her license on her skirt is so cool!  I just love her so much!  So here's the pics:
She also made me a bendable head band. So cool I need it too! Thanks so much! 😎❤☺

Here's my fabulous patches from "Wulf"! 😉 They are so cool & what detail.☺ The TCM patch has cut outs & the girl is just awsome. That's one of my thenes. The other one "Wulf" remembered the Rollings Stones album "Some Girls" with the cool girls & their neat hair do's. That's for my theme 40's & 50's Hair Styles. The kit I love too. It's so neat to get to some little trinkets from other people. Thanks so much "Wulf"! Here's the pics!🤗
I scream when I saw the patches! The lavender sequins I'm going to use on little mini albums I'm making for my oldest Daughter wedding in another month. That's her colors. 😊 Thanks again.

10  Re: Junk Journal Swap - SU: Apr12-Apr21, SO: May22 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Sharalee on: June 08, 2017 09:09:11 PM
I'm going post pics of the Junk Journal I made for "stefaniegk for her as she has been busy. I hope nothing is wrong & she is  well.
I went with her Scotish dog theme & a little whimsy. The cover Is burlap on the outside & doggie print on the inside. I glued & stamped the burlap on. Then I put the doggie fabric I had on the inside & handsewn it on. The cover was just a cardboard piece I had. Then I made 2 signatures, I coffee dyed several papers & paper dollies & some cards, tags old envelopes I save from the mail etc. There was about 20 pages of the different things I mention in each signature. I made 3 holes in the both signatures. I clamp them all together then sewed the signature & put some beads & a charm on each end & tied a bow. She could use them to mark a page. Then after I got both signatures done I sewed them into the cover I had made holes in the cardboard & then again in the fabric. I got them all done. Then the fun really began by putting things on the pages. I cut out different things like a Scottie dog, some flowers & other dogs too. A paragraph of where Scottie dogs came from. I put in 2 fun papersacks in there & pockets & one fabric pocket I glued in. I made a few paper flowers & some small evelopes. Another thing I  made 2 mini albums. One has a Scottie dog on it & a tuck spot with plain tags there & 5 pages another mini with a rose on it & 5 pages, just for notes or to put pics in. Some stickers & we desided to give extras. So I gave some of my coffee dyed papers & dollies & some pretty papers, some  color pages I copied from a book I had, some buttons, charms & a few stickers that you can write with chalk, more stickers & several other things I had. I just couldn't stop. It was hard to give away. But I knew she would like it. I really had fun  making this junk journal. ☺
