13  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Monster High wig on: December 01, 2012 01:47:07 PM
Boo loves Monster High, she calls them her "Scary Girls". the build your own kits are great except for one thing,THE WIGS, they give you two doll only one wig  Angry And the wig you get is sub par.
So I decided to make my own.

All you need is a cheap wig, nylon sock, needle and thread.

cut the sock to fit

Then sew on the weave

Its so easy I might start making a bunch
14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Name of pants fabric on: July 31, 2012 12:13:58 PM
I can't remember what this fabric is called. Its usually used to make pants. Its cotton, lighter than twill with a smooth hand. I don't think its sateen cause it has no luster.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
15  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re: trial by fire. on: April 25, 2012 10:45:40 AM
I would look for swarovski crystal necklaces on ebay or at Claire's for a similar style. Get two and take them apart and sew it to your shoe.

19  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Stretch velvet dress on: April 11, 2012 01:29:14 PM

Boo is running out of dresses with sleeves, so I pulled this velvet shirt out of my stash.
I cut off the sleeves, cut across the armpits and gathered it to make the skirt.
I used the extra material from the sleeves to make the flowers around the neckline.
