1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / First attempt at a paper cut light box on: November 04, 2016 04:37:35 PM
I've recently started getting into paper crafts, and this was one I saw that I needed to try...

4 layers: stars, birch/xmas trees, deer and snowman, detailed xmas tree. Currently this one has no frame but I plan to get a box to put it in to hide the lights behind and to cover up the slightly uneven edges.

I'm looking forward to making more of these!

Wow, this is incredible. That side fabric is a fantastic touch!

that fabric is fantastic! and you did a really great job on the bags, they look great. I might have to make myself a matching set..
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Fitted tank from boxy long sleeved shirt on: March 17, 2016 05:49:02 PM
I had a pretty baggy shirt hanging in my closet that was going to waste, so I removed the sleeves, took in the sides, and synched the back. Much better! The fabric is so thin and lightweight, it was a shame to leave it sitting in my closet.

After I chopped the arms off and then thought 'I really should have taken a before shot...'

I love them!

Lovely dress and great fabric choice!

I found the last picture to be quite surprising. I didn't realise that it came apart that much! The buttons are perfectly understandable and practical in that case. Do you find the sides of the skirt stay put? I would certainly sit down and expose enough flesh to get arrested but I'm a complete klutz.  Roll Eyes

For the most part it stayed together quite well. Only at the bar when I was shuffling and scooting around did it slip down a bit, but it just looked like a skirt with a high slit. Sexy, but not scandalous, and easy to fix.

Hello!
Ages ago I saw someone on craftster make a shirt based off this old pattern, and I loved it. I can't find it now, otherwise I'd link it, but I had to try my version.

It's got a circle skirt on the bottom, ties in the front and back, and buttons added under the arm for modesty. I looooove it! Just need to be careful when the wind blows ;P

This is what it looks like before you tied it up, when you pretend it's a cape..
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Adventure Time Necklaces on: May 09, 2015 04:07:16 AM
Lovely! I really want an embroidery machine, even more so after I see cool stuff like this..

Thanks everyone!
I tried to match the glitter with the fabric so whichever way is facing out matches what you're wearing. Nice to see it's a detail that's picked up on!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Reversible necklaces on: May 07, 2015 12:18:11 AM
I don't think i uploaded these here yet! Last summer I made a bunch of reversible necklaces using various paints, glitters and fabric, these are a few of them. I'm impatiently awaiting more supplies to make others now.. I also made some smaller single piece ones, but I'm having difficulty uploading photos.

Thanks for looking!
