HI! Very beautiful! I love how the 5 center squares give it more interest.

22  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pineapple Motif Cloth on: February 18, 2015 11:57:24 AM

Here is a beautiful and practical cloth with a centered pineapple motif. Made with 4 ply dishcloth cotton, you can get two of them out of a solid color skein.

23  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Need a little help! :) on: February 17, 2015 06:44:56 PM
1st rnd: Ch 6, * d c in ring, ch 3, repeat from * until 7 sps are made; then, ch 3. join with sl st (8 sps). Every rnd is joined with a sl st unless otherwise specified.

2nd rnd: Sl st into next ch-3 sp,  Ch 7---(counts as the first dc in sp and ch-4),  4 d c in next sp, * ch 4, 4 d c in next sp. Repeat from * around, ending rnd with 3 d c in last sp completing the 4 dc shell. Join to 3rd st of ch-7 first made.

This should work. The 8 is a 3 in rnd 2--typo

28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Jewelry Gem Drawstring Pouch with free pattern on: February 07, 2015 02:40:13 PM

This is a great scrap project! I used an F/3.75mm aluminum hook and less than an ounce of worsted weight yarn. Perfect for your Valentine's Day jewelry gift!

29  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Kanji Dream Symbol Afghan in the row count method on: January 31, 2015 04:44:14 PM

Work this one sideways.  Instead of a chart, row by row counts are given. This can be an easier way to approach a chart as the counting has already been done for you! H/5.00 hook and Super Saver yarn by Red Heart in your choice of colors. I used white and turquoise.

30  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pineapple Butterfly on: January 31, 2015 12:48:59 PM

I used red thread and a #7 steel hook. It didn't take long at all. The antennae are attached to the head, so no flopping around and it can be sewed onto a t-shirt.
If you would like to make your own, here is the free pattern:
