81  Tattoo Mom Cross Stitch with free pattern link in Mother's Day by Maria Merlino on: April 29, 2011 07:20:06 PM

Nothing says I Love Mother more than a Mom Heart Tattoo! It has only 3 colors of floss, red, yellow and black. Cut your 14 count aida to 8x10 inches to fit into a 6x8 frame. Very non-traditional!

Here is the link for the free chart:

82  Boy Baby Shower or Congratulations Card with Boxing Gloves Image-> Free Download in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by Maria Merlino on: April 29, 2011 08:01:55 AM

I have made for you a high resolution boy baby shower or congratulations card. Very macho in a baby-ish way. Don't worry, the free printable does not have my name across the front! There is also a second inside page that has a sentiment.

This was fun to do! I hope you enjoy it, too.

I have a beautiful vintage birth certificate for you to download and print. I altered the original with fancy text to give it a new copyright. The image above has my copyright logo, but if you go to my printable page, you will find a high resolution document without the logo, all ready to fill in with baby's vital statistics. Hope you enjoy!

84  Free Seed Envelopes with free download in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Maria Merlino on: April 27, 2011 09:05:21 AM

I designed these seed envelopes to help you save your organic and heirloom seeds. I used regular copy paper, scissors and a glue stick to make them. I also printed with the Draft setting on my printer to save on ink. I like the faded look and the paper is more stable.

Here is the tutorial and the images to make your own:

85  Mother Love Seed Envelopes 4 Designs Free Printable Download in Mother's Day by Maria Merlino on: April 26, 2011 12:11:10 PM

On Mother's Day, I give out seeds in honor of my dearly departed mother. The seed is the symbol of life and by planting soon pretty flowers will emerge and remind us of the beauty of life. Cut, fold on black lines, use glue stick to adhere. There are 4 designs, 2 per page. I print the images on the Draft setting. This is the setting where you are saving ink. I don't mind the faded image because it is more stable on the thinner copy paper. Too much bleed through causes wrinkles and wastes ink. The images are a Mother banner, an urn of roses with a flying bird, a crescent moon with rose, and a double rose oil painting.

Here are the seed packets:

87  Rooster Gift Scrapbooking Tags for dear old Dad--->Free printable in Father's Day by Maria Merlino on: April 25, 2011 04:22:47 AM

I'm having fun making tags! Here are some vintage roosters that you can use for Father's Day Gift tags.
Two horizontal and 2 vertical tags. Images are Rooster in Tux singing with hen on piano, Rooster family, Rooster Head Master, and an antique playing card with a rooster and one heart. I buy index card weight paper at my local office supply.I also use an inexpensive paper trimmer, the flat kind, not the guillotine type, to cut them apart.

89  Giant Long Stem Rose Scarf---->Free Link included! in Crochet: Completed Projects by Maria Merlino on: April 22, 2011 06:59:15 AM

Why buy a rose for mother when you can make her one to wear around her neck?
This rose is made with no sewing but has 3 parts to it. First you make the Irish Leaf, then the, hollow tube and finally a hyperbolic bloom. It's really not difficult at all as I have a photo tutorial linked to the pattern.

Pattern is here:

If you want to give a looky at the pictures, here they are:
