1  Gift Card Holder from Extra Gum Package! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Reel Crafty Girl on: November 04, 2019 05:53:47 PM
Tell me I am not the only one who buys gum and mints based on the packaging!

I made this awesome gift card holder (or could even hold a small gift) from an Extra Gum Package!  So easy - I just used the package insert for my pattern.

I used Crate Paper "Hooray" paper collection and chipboard stickers (along with sequins - because every project is better with sequins!)

2  Grinch Heart Christmas Ornament (easy!) in Winter Holidays by Reel Crafty Girl on: October 03, 2019 05:40:28 PM
So I have been pinning ornament ideas to have a craft day with the boss's daughter (one of my job perks, I get to craft with a 6 year at work - I LOVE it!)

Here is my first prototype - the Grinch's heart - super easy!

Birch wood round ornament (I bought 50 of these when Walnut Hollow had a clearance sale last year!)
Acrylic Gloss Paint
Silver Sharpie
Black Sharpie
Heart Dew Drop (Robins Nest)
Chunky glitter (Heidi Swapp) for a snowy effect!

4  She's a Rainbow - 8x8 Scrapbook Page in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: June 12, 2019 06:51:59 AM
My current fave page!  This is my boss's daughter from one of their crazy dress up days at school.

I wrote the lyrics to "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones as my background and highlighted with markers and acrylic dew drops - pretty simple design, but so pleased with the end result (and my boss LOVES it!)

5  The Proposal - Wedding Proposal layout in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: May 18, 2019 07:09:07 PM
I felt like I was in a bit of a scrappy rut - then last month my niece got engaged in Thailand - I am so excited to scrap every moment of her wedding process!!

I used all nautical and beach themed bits and bobs from my stash for my banner!

6  Wine O'Clock - Scrapbook Page (everyday moments) in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: February 20, 2019 07:03:27 AM
Well, I was sick for the entire holiday season and most of January! But I am back scrapping my heart out!  I went to the Craft & Hobby association trade show in Phoenix in January and took along my mom - we found a great little Airbnb and this layout is just about us, kicking it in our PJ's!

Journaling reads:

I got the creative gene from mom, so it is only fitting that she accompany me to the annual Craft & Hobby Association trade show.  This year we found an adorable AirBnB in the historic F.Q. Story neighborhood of Phoenix that was the perfect place to relax after hours of walking the show floor. Unwinding with wine, using glasses we created at the show.

7  Rustic Christmas Ornament - Snowy Night with Doe in Winter Holidays by Reel Crafty Girl on: November 19, 2018 06:00:28 AM
I LOVE crafting with wood rounds!  This ornament was so easy - - my tip - - once I paint my background, I use a silver sharpie to outline the painted area- this cleans up any not so perfect edges and just adds a nice detail

I cant tell you how many stacks of vintage linens and handkerchiefs I have!

So I decided to upcycle some into beautiful sachets with ribbon and trim scraps and buttons!

I found these super fun over sized erasers at the Dollar Store - used paper, fabric, burlap, ribbons, twine and buttons to fancy them up for teacher gifts - so easy, but I think they turned out cute!!
