1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Leaf Sweater from Phildar Tendances on: November 26, 2007 06:26:13 PM
This is so extremely beautiful.  I find that too often knit sweater come out boxy and unflattering.  NOT this one!  It's very feminine.  Great work.  I now must get that pattern.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Early 20th century flair bottomed skirt on: November 25, 2007 05:58:09 PM
That is gorgeous.  I love the pattern on the fabric.

3  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: First Projects! on: October 25, 2007 09:36:49 PM
Those look awesome.  I especially like the first one.  I know nothing about glass fusing.  Do you need some type of kiln for that or can you use a torch?
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Yet another Fake Isle hat.... on: October 15, 2007 06:00:45 PM
That's a beautiful hat.  It looks like the little boy who's wearing it is sad in the first pic and then finally decided to break down in cry in the second shot.  He was probably sad to have his picture taken.  Cute tantrums.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: 1 week + lots of knitting = on: October 14, 2007 06:38:21 PM
That is definitely awesome.  I love the leaf pattern and the fact that you don't have to worry about it looking fitted.  Great job.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Blue RAZOR CAMI on: October 13, 2007 03:44:39 PM
I really like this.  I especially love how flattering it is.  It looks like it's fitted.  Did you having to decrease for the waist?  Where did you find this pattern?
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Amigurumi Panda and Turtle on: July 28, 2007 03:58:35 PM
They are adorable.  I'm inspired.  I never knit or crocheted a stuffed animal.  Are they quick and easy?
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Re: I would like to see your apartment balcony!! pics please! :) on: July 24, 2007 10:05:46 AM
I'll be moving into my very first apartment soon too!  I think that the flowerboxing do wonders to a porch/balcony.  I especially love the overhanging vines that I've seen on some people's porches.  I plan on mixing vines and flowers in the boxes and placing my large, tropical tree plants on the floor.  I won't be moving in until about Aug. 1st but I'll be sure to post pics asap.
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: River Rock Floor Mat **WITH TUTORIAL and added suggestions** on: July 24, 2007 09:56:57 AM
I am sooo inspired.  I'm surprised nobody thought of what I'm about to suggest (maybe because it wouldn't work?)....what if you made one of these mats to line the bottom of a shower with.  You would have to use a base mat with holes so that all the water would drain through.  Also, maybe it would help prevent long hair from clogging the drain.  Does this seem like it could work?  If it would, I want to try it!  Let me know what all you craftsters think.
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Show off you giant veggies or just your green thumb on: July 24, 2007 09:37:40 AM
I have tons of flowers on my cucumber plants but no cucumbers yet.  I'm in upstate NY.  I don't know if that has anything to do with it.  My soil is very clay-like.  But my sugar-snap peas are killer.  I hope my cucumbers grow to look as obscene as yours do (pun intended).  Also, have you had good luck with miracle gro and tomatoes?
