1  Re: Fishy Camera Case. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by vanityandagun on: January 18, 2006 11:58:47 PM

This fish is a bit different from my own. I modified my first pattern because it didn't close over the camera properly, therefore, the closed lips weren't so closed afterall. Anyways, I had initially made this one for someone who was buying it from me, but the colours weren't what she wanted. Non the less, this is what it should look like with the lips drawn closed.

2  Fishy Camera Case. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by vanityandagun on: January 02, 2006 09:04:41 PM
So I got a new camera for christmas and needed a case. I thought it would be cute to make it like a fish. I didn't get a shot of it, but the drawstring closes and makes the fish's kissy lips. It's wonderful Smiley

3  Hand Embroidered Drummer Wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by vanityandagun on: August 17, 2005 10:59:27 AM
So a while back my best friend said he needed a wallet. He's a kick ass drummer so what better than to put a drum set on the wallet. This is what I came up with. It ended up being a bad size and i ended up taking it apart and making a new one with the remnants of this one. I never took pictures of it after I took it apart & made it a billfold. Here's what it looked like beforehand.

needless to say he's in love with it.

4  TUTORIAL for Personalized Labels! in Completed Projects by vanityandagun on: June 20, 2005 12:25:51 AM
So lots of people asked for a tutorial as to how to make pretty lables that look professional. This is the way I did my own - hopefully this helps some of you other craftsters out!

I apologize for the blurriness of some of the panels. They resized my them automatically upon uploading.

5  love tanks 100% original totes!!! in Get Product and Website Opinions by vanityandagun on: June 14, 2005 10:15:11 AM
4 totes I've made to be sold at Kustom Kulture as soon as I give them a call. They want to sell my stuff but before they do I want to hear what you folks think of the bags. They all have pockets & are all made by yours truly. I'm thinking about setting up a website soon too so that I can sell some stuff on there.

6  collage --> "only the moon watches us..." in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by vanityandagun on: April 25, 2005 12:20:11 AM
Here's a collage I made one night for a friend. The background was made of 5 different peices of sky that i blended with acrylic paint. Don't mind the glare on the picture, i laminated it so the flash automatically shone off of it.

7  vintage pillowcase tube top! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by vanityandagun on: April 06, 2005 09:45:32 PM
So I bought a pillowcase at value village for $1 and loved the material. I decided to use a strapless dress pattern for the bodice and what not but modified the rest. Here's what I came up with... I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out. These photos do it little justice.

What it looks like on me. (You may not be able to see in any of these pictures but there are 2 inch cuts on either side of the garment for effect)
