481  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Very easy ripple shawl from Lion brand on: March 02, 2005 07:14:32 PM
Snowflake,  Your shawl looks great.  I think you are right in that a lighter color would show up the pattern.  I do like those darker colors though!!  How often do you knit? You seem to have a lot of finished projects! Smiley

I have made a few of these and added an extra round of cable to the width, and to the lengths.  Can anyone help me with the decreases with adding an extra width of cable?  The last hat I made I followed the directions and then did the k2 together rounds but wasn't completely happy.  Any suggestions welcome! Linda

485  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / NORO FUJI 3 st/in on: February 25, 2005 07:45:02 PM
I have 10 skeins of NORO FUJI! I am looking for a good project for this.  It is a thick thin yarn of 60% cotton, 20% wool,18% acrylic, and 2 % NYLON. I am thinking of a tank or throw.  Would appreciate any experiences ideas! I love the colors, a varigated brick red, tel, puple, and mauve.  IT is 74 yds, 50gm skein.  The yarn is super soft.  Thank you, Linda

That looks so great! I have about 10 skeins of Noro Fuju that I'm trying to decide what to do with. I could not wear the original boobholder but I love it longer.  I think I may try it.  Any tips would be great!! Good job!

I love your version!! The stripes really look great and I love the depuffed sleeves from someone who doesn't like poofy.   I'm thinking of trying this.  I have 10 skeins of NORO FUJI but I'm thinking I like it better in something not too flashy!! Great job !!
