1  Re: 50 PROJECTS 2019, sign ups open all year. in Craftalongs by rantyhippie on: May 18, 2019 09:35:59 AM
I just finished some more. This is only half the stack I paid $3 for. I think I will wait until I get my cricut to do the rest because I had a lot of trouble getting the edges even on these.

Witch wall hangings:

The tiny ball garlands I burned the heck out of my fingers on:

They were supposed to be pumpkins:

These still need their edges trimmed

I made these Halloween ornaments from some greeting cards I found at a thrift shop. They reminded me of when I was little and my maternal grandmother sent me a Halloween card every year. The beaded ones I made on the fly after I discovered the beads would not stay on the ornaments.

My package is here, but the leasing office is closed. I will have to pick it up Monday.

I have my package from Sederick! I love what I have seen so far! I got some coloring sheets at the bottom of the box that my kids are going to love (I may steal one or two).

The box everything came in was awesome to store the yarn I have been hiding in our coat closet:

Day 1 was a very cute apron!

Day 2 was an amazing charm bracelet.

Day 3 was a book and 2 coloring books for the kids:

Day 4 was a super cute ornament for our tree.

Day 5 is a fall banner that I plan to keep up through thanksgiving.

Day 6 is a cute vampire ornament that came apart. But I will fix him!

Day 7 is a set of bowl warmers that I have really been needing around here!

Day 8 is a pair of handmade lampwork earrings and some spooky lights for my treee

Day 9 I received some lovely scented jack o lantern candles, some scented oil, and some chocolate:

Day 10: Ghost Lanterns for the tree!

Day 11 is this cute candy jar filled with pumpkins!

Day 12 was a set of vampire candles:

and the other side

Day 13 was an awesome Mummy Poppet! I love poppets and have always wanted one, Thanks, sederick!

I had a great time this year, Happy Halloween everyone!

I did a few more things:

I bought these dinosaurs that you paint and stitch at Hobby Lobby on clearance and put them in my son's room:

I have been trying to be more creative with my cooking also.

Skull Biscuts from scratch

Apple crumble in vintage pyrex

I recently learned how to make homemade buttercream frosting and I will never go back to store bought.

Chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. I put some orange colored sugar in the buttercream and it turned orange.

Chocolate cake with Halloween sprinkles.

I've been stitching in between classes (back to school for this mommy). Here are a couple things. I have had a hard time getting into crafting (chronic depression sufferer) and these took way longer than they should have. I got the kits for like 60 cents at Hobby Lobby.

In my current town, there is a group called Kindness Rocks who go around hiding painted rocks. It is kind of fun, so I decided to participate:
