Received from haroldlovesmaude yesterday, it's a paper-crafted phoenix based on Fawkes, with his own little stand and the ashes underneath.

I never did get a good picture of the jewels on his tail....

Thank you so much for my own little Fawkes!  He's awesome.

I *also* received from AugustBell today, and what a great package it was!

First up, group shot -

A fabulous Fred and George card!

With their set of sweaters (I have to say I'm in awe of everyone's skills in making these tiny sweaters, it's just amazing).

The Boy Who Lived ornament - it's too cute, I love how you layered the pictures and words.

Fawkes for my tree - there are no words for how much I love this guy - He's so adorable, the phoenix is my favorite magical creature.

Last, but not least, a box full of Hershey's mint chocolate -

Thank you so much, AugustBell, as always, it's so fun to swap with you!

Got my package from Ant Bee today. I opened it, and made that stupid noise that you make when you see a baby kitten, you know, ...d'awwwww.  My very own set of Fred and George sweaters for my tree on tiny little clothes hangers.  Oh, and peppermint, which I love.

Thank you so much, Ant Bee, these are adorable!

Day 1

A quilted pirate bag - I love the red, black, and white fabrics used, and the fabric on the inside is awesome.

It was full of goodies, like a tea pouch, a sunglasses holder, a makeup roll, and a coin pouch.

Day 2

A most awesome and creepy Zombie Swedish Chef chalkboard - Bork, bork, bork and a great stitched sign!

Day 3

Lovely towels with fabric, and a stitched tea towel (love that), and I'm not exactly sure what it is, but we're using it like a blanket!

Day 4

Stuff for the kiddies!  Chloe got an awesome skull messenger bag, and Keegan got what he's calling his "space bag!".  They also got yarn balls full of goodies, which they had a blast unraveling!  Chloe also got a witch hat and Keegan got little devil horns (pretty appropriate)

Day 5

A Monroeville Zombies stenciled sweatshirt - there are no words for how much I love this (it's from Zack and Miri make a porno).  Wonderful stenciling and it looks soooooo cool.  A "nevermore" T-shirt, a stuffed spider (once again stolen by the children), a BAZINGA! hoop (my first hoop, whoooohoooo!), and a Ghastlies mug rug.

Day 6

A haunted house pillow, a batty tablecloth, two packs of halloween lights, a beautiful bunting (love that fabric!), and lovely graveyard and pirate cards.

Day 7

Lovely journal with a red feather pen, beads, pincushion jar, spider headband, rat ring (lol), tiny little clip on witch hat, and lemon lavender body scrub!

Spiders in my hair!  It's a headband, wore it last night, it's so neat.

The body scrub smells AWESOME!

Contents of pincushion jar.

Day 8

Great cut out red handprints, spider egg sacs (! -fabulous- !), spider webs and witch fringe for the doorway made from garbage bags, insects/specimen jars.

Day 9

Lots of craft supplies - Three hoops, a box full of embroidery thread, needles, and patterns, a plastic holder of scrapbooking/paper craft items, a really awesome box with stamps, ink and other assorted goodies.  This'll keep me busy until NEXT Halloween!

Day 10

Three painted pumpkins, two really awesome felt buntings, a snaky wreath, a mirror with a striped frame, and BOO words!

(just realized that my "Phantom of the Okra." shirt is visible in the mirror, lol!   Roll Eyes

Day 11

Napkins of several kinds (I really like the checkered ones!), some batty towels, two creature cups and creature koozies (stolen by the children already, grr), and bleeding candles.  These are all just great....I love it!

Day 12

A whole plethora of baking supplies and goodies - guess now I don't have an excuse to tell the kids I can't cook! Including mummy molds, a brain mold, spooky witch hat molds, sprinkles, cupcake feet (adorable) baking cups (big and little), cookie cutters, an absolutely awesome spatula, and lots and lots of Jell-O!

Day 13 from nostephot was candy!  It was full of gum, and I am a relentless gum chewer, everybody knows to check my bag for a pack, since I always keep one around.  Not only was it candy, it was packaged so absolutely cute!  This will be great after all the candy is gone to store doohickeys and bedazzlers in.

Just got my awesome One Tiny thing from AugustBell.  It's lovely, and I have been wanting a  pincushion with a holder on the bottom for so long!  It'll come in so handy when I'm quilting, since I can use the top for my straight pins, and the bottom for my basting pins!  Hooray.

It was also filled with tiny little sewing supplies including little owl buttons, pins, buttons, scissors, thread, a needle threader.

Check out the Weasley Wizard Wheezes box and tag (my favorite Wizarding Shop).  So freaking adorable.

It has a picture of Hogwarts on one side, the spell "Alohomora" on the other.  It has a crocheted top in Gryffindor colors, and wire crocheted beads around the bottom, with a tiny little Lion charm (Roar, Roar!).  The beads are beautiful, I love them!

Okay, be prepared for the most *lovely* package.  I should have took a picture of it before I tore into it, it was all wrapped so pretty, with notes explaining and everything.  But, nope, I acted like a kid that had had too much cake at a birthday party.

I did mention I can always use container storage, so I get my very own stasis box!

Bookmark with Aes Sedai symbols, Loial's book, Egwene's dream ring.  Looks almost too fancy for my beat up scrungy books.

A Dragon pin

and an Avendesora leaf necklace!

A knit cap with earflaps!  I love these hats, and it's Wheel of Time reference is Saidar is like a river (see the waves?).  Like a river, on my head!  It's so nice, and since I HATE being cold, it makes me happy!

A very pretty birdie keychain - it's too nice to use on my old beat up keys, I think I'll save it for our spare ring we give to the neighbor when we vacation!

Got my wonderful angel package from pioneer9 today.  She picked my theme of zombies! with a few extras.  I have to say, this box was packed full of great stuff!

First a group shot of goodies!

A red T-shirt with a black heart that reads Brains.

Two frames, one with the play on the British poster and a sad, little zombie cut out girl who just loves brains.  Awww, she's so cute!

Hubby's favorite as well as the kids -a zombie stuffy guy - I've decided to call him Gangrene.

A blue beaded necklace with a little bird charm (birds/nature was also one of my themes)

A purple painted notebook and a fat quarter idea book (which is so awesome, I love it!)

And, possibly the most cool wall hanging in the pre-zombipocolypse world ---

This is freaking awesome, I love it.  I love the red and black and the fabrics used go together so well!

Thank you so much for a really, really, really great angel package, it really brightened up my sick with a sinus infection week!  And any typos and/or bad picture taking is blamed on the meds I'm on, ok?

8  Re: Three Tiny Movie Things - GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by bobbinalong on: April 02, 2012 12:46:26 PM

Got my three tiny movie things today, they're so awesome!  They are little shadow boxes with the character and quote in them (and how'd you know all my favorite quotes?)

From Office Space:  Milton and his red stapler.

From The Goonies:  Chunk

From My Fair Lady:  Eliza rooting for her horse to win.

I love them all!  Thank you soooo much for a great package of tiny things!

Well, I decided to go ahead and post pics of the things I sent hazelly.  I picked her theme of Elements (Wind, Earth, Air, Fire).

First up was a circular needle storage wall hanging, made out of my favorite map fabric to represent "Earth".

Next up was "Water" and "Fire" which was a tote bag and a circular needle storage book thingy whatever.  It had fabric pages with pockets. Color is a little washed out in this photo, oops.

For "Air" I made a windchime of shells and beach glass.

To combine all four elements, a yarn storage tin covered with sculpey. The yarn is supposed to feed through the top (in theory - my yarn/knitting knowledge is pretty close to zero)

And just for silliness, a crafting die.  For the sides, Sew, Craft, Sculpt, Knit, and the one you never want to land on -- Clean!
