So I know this dosnt really have anything to do with the swap but I couldn't resist. Look what my husband gave me for my birthday on the 27th.

He found it while junking a building. I havnt gone through it all yet but I havnt found anyhting newer than the 60's and all in immaculate condition.

I found this in the mailing envelope for the big Vogue pattern in the back.

22  Bedsheets to Mupptity 60's style in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by scarlet_nights on: June 27, 2015 10:33:20 PM
Last week JoAnns had Simplicity patterns on sale for 99 cents. I of course got as many as I could including this fabulous reprint.

I dug through my stash of vintage sheets till I found a great Muppet sheet and a pretty purple one for the lining. This pattern is one of the easiest shirt/dress patterns I've ever used, just 3 pieces. The side seams are open,it ties together in the front and back, the only thing that is sewn together are the shoulder seams.

Its completely reversible but I love the outer fabric so much that I doubt I'll ever wear it with the purple out.

I added a boxed pleat to the neckline because I had to enlarge the pattern some and the neck gaped a bit. I think it looks much better with the pleat.(Please ignore my nasty chin)

A close up of the Piggy costumes.

And my favorite Piggy. It reminds me of an I Love Lucy episode.

I think it turned out really cute. It sewed up very quick and I had no issues so I will be using this pattern many more times.

Feel free to include finished craft items if you want, as long as they fit with your partner's likes.  Don't feel the need to run out and buy something as the purpose of this swap is to clean out your existing stash!

Here is a little sneak peak for JS.

The material is actually brighter and darker than this but my camera washed it out.

Dose it have to be something that keeps a person warm? I've been mildly obsessed with making these pyrex carriers lately. They are reversible, washable and really cute. Ive got them sized for the 8x8 or round pan and a big behemoth one for the 9x13 pans. The big one is 26x26 so you can really carry anything in it.

outside of cover.

reverse of cover.

Ive got several made up in both sizes so poll........what size would yall want?

I just realized I forgot to post pics!

I have been wanting the vampire pb&j forever!

Some fun little extras and the fab embroidery thread holder she made for my embroidery bag. Love the fabric. And the inside, tons of space for all different colors.

And the best for last.......a Beaker Hoppla!!!! Oh how I love it! Its so hard to find Beaker stuff and he's one of my favorites.
