1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Serpent Scarf w/ Pocket on: February 21, 2010 06:33:18 PM
It was originally going to be just a plain old snake, but I'm glad I went more mythical.
2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Need your opinion on some photos for my future website... [added new photo] on: February 21, 2010 02:56:54 PM
Wow I agree the paper is really captivating - you could even try different colors (subtle ones) to pop your trees in different ways.

They are these little buttons:

Too confusing? I hate to scroll up and down to look at selections, so I thought having them right by the order buttons would be better. I don't know if it is though...

These are great! I have a friend who loves wearing fake mustaches and I think she'd get a kick out of matching pillows  Smiley
6  UNITED STATES / New Hampshire / Re: Crafting Group Seacoast Area NH on: February 21, 2010 01:28:50 PM
As an addition to this I am interested in starting a makerspace for anyone who hacks/tinkers/diys in and outside of crafting to electronics and anything else. We are thinking of locating ourselves in Newmarket and calling ourselves 'Seacoast Makers'. Would love to hear from locals who may be interested.
7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Opinions on displaying fabric selection on my website? on: February 21, 2010 01:25:53 PM
Hi,

I sell fleece items on my website www.thefuzzdepot.com. I would love some feedback on whether I should keep my fabric selections as a pop up window with swatches or if it's better to load a big page of thumbnails for each print/color. I like the idea of being able to click a button next to each catalog item (as seen on this page: http://www.thefuzzdepot.com/ChinStore.html, but I wonder if it is confusing for customers? How do others with fabric choices like to display them? Thanks!

10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What to do with old business cards??? on: February 21, 2010 01:18:05 PM
Another idea for old business cards (or any cards) is to chop em up for confetti.
