1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / A buff / neckwarmer pattern on: January 03, 2009 08:57:23 AM
Hi
I am wanting to knit a  neckbuff for my friend's birthday (in less than 3 weeks).

I have found this simple pattern for http://whorledpeacehandspun.blogspot.com/2008/02/buff-by-whorled-peace-www.html on the Whorled Peace website, but it is for a bulky yarn - the yarn I want to 'stashbust' is Colinette One Zero, so it is thinner. I could double the yarn up but does anyone know how else I could 'make it fit' ie use smaller needles, more stitches etc?

Or, does anyone know of an alternative pattern using finer yarn?

Thanks

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / ggh knitties? on: January 20, 2005 04:56:35 AM
I found a link on another forum to this website: www.ggh-garn.com/en
and thought that the wee creatures look brilliant.

Does anyone know where you could get patterns for this sort of thing? I'm only learning (though I can increase and decrease now I haven't tried it on a proper garment or anything), so maybe I'm being too ambitious!

I've tried to put a link below, I hope it works!
