You're little cow is adorable!! All the stitches you've made around the nose are so precise and perfect - plus, the design of the cow itself is genius.
Love eet!

These are so sweet! I think I'm totally in love with your sweet little bunny.
And they look so tiny - you must be a crazy fast learner if you can do such precise little stitches after only a few months crocheting. Bravo!!  Cheesy

26  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / 'Give me One Ping Only.' - A Crocheted Submarine! on: June 08, 2010 05:12:27 PM
Did anyone get my Sean Connery reference (from the Hunt for Red October)?? I understand if you didn't - it's hard to type in that Russian/Scottish accent. Wink

So, I really wanted to crochet a submarine and my Dad suggested that I should do the Red October since we both really love that movie. The problem is ... no one would particularly recognize the finished submarine seeing as that ship is somewhat fictional.

I love the idea of cute and cartoony things, so I decided to try a cutesy version of a sub instead. And, really, what colour could there possibly be for a cartoony submarine other than yellow?

Without further chit chat, here's my sub:

As you can see, I opted for a propellor, as opposed to a magnetohydrodynamic 'caterpillar' drive.
I hope you like it!
