Ingenious!  I agree that the bleed through does not look bad on the overall effect -- it just looks awesome!!

I just did this the other day!! (also without a maker) for a barter with a co-worker (he has chickens and gives me eggs).  Your pasta looks much better than mine did, so you should definitely be proud!!

btw, are you aware of the collective unconscious??  I think we are linked somehow... Tongue

5689  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Shifter Boots & Center Console Pad on: February 19, 2010 05:18:04 AM
Wish I could take credit for the idea, but I was definitely commissioned to do this, haha.  I used the old shifter boots as a pattern, and it was very easy....which is good if they need replacing because it is such a dirty spot.

Racecar??  My guy would be jealous, I think Smiley  I'd love to see a pic if you make these!

So, I made these a long time ago for my hubby who is a major car guy.  He recently posted them on his toyota build thread, and I thought I'd give them some exposure here, too.

Shifter Boots:

Center Console Pad:

And for anyone who's interested - his build thread:
