Just had to hit the *this rocks* buttons

sheep Blue - wowza you have been one busy lady Smiley

I was hoping people form the swap would migrate over to these boards and fill them up with more background info about their pieces but this is a lush post fuill of amazing colours. The rabbits are fantastic and I also am in love with the foxes and the squid. The tea cups are cool too nice to see a change of pace with you doing sillouette works as well as linear ones - you know theyre asking for some embroidered patterns into them though yeah?! haha x

Craftaddict- thank you! I drew the foxes, hot air balloons and day of the dead man myself and the spaceships are a collaboration that a friend of mine and I did together. I use light sensitive emulsion to coat my screen in and then have my line work on acetate so the emulsion reacts through the stencil. You can pretty much put photo quality stencils on a screen with the stuff its amazing!

The fox repeat took a whole afternoon to print as I did a full width of fabric and could only do one print at a time so I could see to line it up!

Btw that frog repeat is awesome I want some!! And love the avocado and the skeletons too Wink

Sheepblue - girl your printing is beyond! The rabbits arrived and are beautiful - My boyfriend cant get over the fact you just do it in your living room and make it look so professional! Neither can I  Grin

Everyone has done such a good job with their fabrics!

Hey soo this is my first swap so pardon my ignorance but how do you leave feedback?  Huh
Hey KawaiiHelen - My first swap too.  The swap organizers leave the feedback.  In this case SheepBLue OR CraftADDchick.  I wanted 'quick' feedback to get into the Art Doll swap so I sent a personal email directly to CraftADDchick (who was my group organizer).  By the way, your fabrics are GORGEOUS!!!

ah sucks thank you! and nice one for answering my quiry- i was a tad confused!  Embarrassed

So I had this brilliant idea today, to make a quilt with hand printed squares...so someone needs to organise another 4 or so of these swaps asap!!!

but I had another thought, you know the ongoing offer what you have swaps...I have never participated in them, but I wonder if it would work as a kind of ongoing fabric printing swap...so if we liked someones work, we could offer some of ours in return.. (am I making sense?)

i think thats a nice idea!

I've also just finally taken some better photos of my parcel from Edelc rather than the crummy phone shot from 2 weeks ago!

Theyre all awesome!

Thanks Edel  Grin

My beautiful fabrics from fancybutch are here! I adore the circus bear i think he is my favourite and love love love the spaceships and apples too. Can't wait to have a free day to stitch all these beauties up - I'm planning on making a new set of cushions for my living room with all the fabric I've received from this swap. Eep it's gonna look great  Grin

The background fabric for this is ace- I'm really into 1950s geometric shapes too so a perfect combo.

The moons in the background are such a good combo with the spaceships too!

Thank youuuuuu!
