That is a beautiful idea.  Valentine's Day is coming up and my fiance and I just celebrated our six year anniversary together.  Maybe I should do something special like that..

Hey there -

Just joined the forum.  I'm from the Rio Grande Valley as well - McAllen to be exact.  What area are you teaching in?  I don't know how familiar you have become with the Valley, but if you have any questions I'll be glad to help you out.  Smiley
9  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Greetings from [very] Deep South Texas!! on: January 21, 2010 08:46:58 AM
Hey everyone!

My name is Raye.  I am 23 and live in my hometown of McAllen, Texas.  That's at the very Southern tip of Texas.  Smiley

I used to be really into crafting, but over the past three years I got so caught up in trying to graduate from college and starting my first teaching job that I lost track of doing what I love.  However, now I have time to get back to it all!  I recently tore the meniscus in my knee and I am currently awaiting MRI results to see if I will need surgery.  This means that I am decommissioned from work and at home with NOTHING to do until at least February 10.

When I came across this site yesterday, though, things got a little bit brighter for me. Smiley  I look forward to sharing ideas and crafts with everyone and getting back into what I love doing most!

See you all around -=
