the first piece is gorgeous. especially the little bows. but i'm always pretty dogmatic in demanding bows on everything. great job!
12  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / 7 piece wall decor (pictures of biblical proportions) on: January 29, 2010 12:22:12 PM
Okay, so I love these awesome mini collage motif art pieces that I've been seeing everywhere. However, they are mind-blowingly expensive, so I thought, "uh uhh, girl, you know you can make this thang by yourself, girlfrann." I gathered my old canvasses and some leftover paint, mixed up some corresponding colors, and this is what I came up with.

Mine is 7 pieces and it laid out in a messy asymmetrical way. In case you're wondering the big C K in the middle is mine and my boyfriend's initials, who so helpfully painted alongside me.

The colors are off in the photos. The yellow is a golden-orange tone and my walls are 1970s avocado green.

All of the pictures together on my wall.

ooh, nice. I think a pair in faux leather would be fabulous.

So cute, and love the tulip. Its good to see a cute hoodie without the bulky pouch pocket right out front.
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: body pillow cover et al for my dorm room :) on: January 27, 2010 06:32:34 PM
I was just thinking that I needed to go shopping for a cover for my body pillow, forgetting that I could make one just as easily, especially since yours came out beautifully. And, ratatat, be still my heart!!!
16  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: one shouldered dress help ** just posted pictures of my version** on: January 27, 2010 06:24:11 PM
That came out super pretty and girly! I like the thinner strap that you made as opposed to the thicker strap of the original. I cannot get over that fabric.
17  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: Rojas Napoleon Hoodie dress/ Patricia Field Store...I made it! on: January 27, 2010 06:18:01 PM
Crap. That is awesome. I bought this long plain hoodie that looks like th one you made for like, 3 bucks at Dot's. I think you've inspired me to make it badass.

Those are gorgeous. I just bought one for like, 3 bucks at Charlotte Russe but it looks like too much fun to make!

I'm swooning over the back buttons. And if I can say so, you are so pretty!
20  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Beer Soap..just dont drink it :( on: January 22, 2010 09:06:13 PM
mmm, beer soap. but i wouldn't say that too loud on desperate nights with only one beer left in the fridge between two people. i'd have a hard time leaving any beer left for soap making.
