22  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Angelina and Elvis on: January 22, 2010 10:02:46 AM
OK, these are my Angelina and Elvis oil paintings in my blue celebs series. I have actually done Angelina twice...not happy with either of them. I just don't think they look like her! But if you pretend you don't know who it's supposed to be, it's not too bad. LOL

23  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Cardinal in Oils on: January 20, 2010 11:23:09 AM
This is an oil painting of a cardinal I did for my mother in law for Xmas. I believe it was 12x12 square, on canvas.

24  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Nic Painting on: January 20, 2010 11:21:46 AM
This is one of my favorite paintings. I have a series of paintings of celebs that I'm doing, all in oils, all in blue. This one is of Nicolas Cage. It's 20x24 in size on canvas.

25  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Art Chick from Ohio on: January 20, 2010 10:41:19 AM
Just introducing myself and saying a newbie hello. My name is Tina. I'm an artist and crafter, and I'm licensed to teach art. I was an art teacher for a decade, but resigned my position to do some other things, and help my hubby with his business. I've kind of had my art on the back burner for a few years and it's time to bring it back to the front! So I'm getting artsy and crafty again, building a website to showcase my art and resources...and I've been on the hunt for great art and craft sites (like Craftster) to help inspire me.  Grin There are some great projects here and so much talent! I'm enjoying looking around.
